Twelve

{ Jace }

I drive home.

I arrive at my huge house, really it's a mansion.

I put my car in the garage, and get in the house.

I open the door, and my little sister, well not little, she's 14, her name is Jessa.

She is sitting on the couch watching Gossip Girl on Netflix.

I hate that show.

I sigh and check on my 12 year old other sister, Janet.

She is doing homework.

I go check on my other sister, she's 8.

Her name is Jenna. She is playing dolls.

My 6 year old sister, Jasmine, is fast asleep.

I go check on my 4 year old brother, Jeffery. He is also fast asleep.

He is asleep as well.

I go check on my father

And of course, he's not there

They left my irresponsible 14 year old sister in charge.

I sigh and hear the baby crying, the 10 month old baby girl, Jill.

I go check on her, her diaper is full.

I sigh and change it and feed her and put her back to sleep.

" Jessa! Did they get to eat? " I go up to her and whisper, not wanting to wake my siblings.

" Yes, I made them sandwiches " she says and sighs

I sigh in relief.

My father is in between hiring Maids and Nancy's right now.

That's why we have no maids.

I make all my siblings go to bed.

I yawn and crawl into bed, and drift off to sleep.

{ The morning at school }

I'm in the halls and see Jamie.

I look at her and grin.

She sees but turns away quickly and walks to math.

" What was that about? " I whisper to my self.

I shrug and scratch my head.

When I arrive in math, I expect Jamie to say hello, or anything.

But no, not a word, or glance.

I roll up some paper and throw it at her, nothing happens.

I do it multiple times until I give up.

{ Time skip to lunch :D }

I see her alone at a table, I go sit next to her, but she gets up and moves to a crowded table.

I sigh, and go sit with my other friends.

Sam, Brad, Avery, Henry, Chris, and Bradly.

We were the popular guy group I guess if you want to call it that.

{ Time skip to PE }

Me and Jamie as well had this class together.

She sits in the bleachers and I go flirt with some other girls.

Hopefully she notices.

She looks this was and her cheeks are a bright red and she turns away quick, angrily.

That seemed to get the fire going

Mission complete.

{ TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL NEAR BUS }

I see her almost getting on the bus, but before she does, I grab her hand.

" Let go Jace. " She says calmly.

" Not until you tell me why you've been ignoring me. " I say.

" Because, I don't want to talk to you.

" Why? " I say, almost in a whisper.

" Cause " she says.

" Jamie look at me! " I say sternly.

We continue the argument.

At the end, something surprising happened, she kissed me.
