CHOIR ROOM
During free period that day, Kelly and the rest of the New Directions were in the choir room rehearsing for their upcoming invitational. A lot was happening with the group since the four new members of the New Directions joined earlier in the week. First, one of the original members, Rachel, had quit. Second, since the amount of people who knew about Quinn's pregnancy was limited, Kelly had stepped up and became a friend to the head Cheerio helping her anytime she needed something. And thirdly, with Rachel's departure from the group, Quinn was now singing the female lead in the group's iconic, 'Don't Stop Believin' cover, which is what the group was running through during the students free period.
As they were singing through the 80's classic, Quinn's morning sickness acted up causing the girl to rush out of the room.
Will: "Quinn, you OK?" he asks as the blonde ran out.
Finn: "I think she just had a bad breakfast burrito."
Kurt: "Can we please talk about the giant elephant in the room?"
Santana: "Your sexuality?"
Kurt: "Rachel. We can't do it without her." he continues, ignoring Santana's comment.
Will: "That's not true. We may have to layer Santana and Mercedes over Quinn's solo, but... we'll be fine."
Artie: "Maybe for the invitationals, but not for the sectionals and certainly not the regionals."
Puck: "The wheelchair kid's right. That Rachel chick wants me wanna light myself on fire, but she can sing."
Will: "Rachel left, guys. She's gone. If we want to make this thing work, we can't look back. Alright, take five, guys." he tells the group as they go and take a break, while Finn goes over to Will with Kelly following a little bit behind.
Finn: "Mr Schue? I don't want to tell you how to do your job, but with all the dancing around that Quinn's doing, I'm kind of worried about the baby."
Will: "Yeah. Yeah, I get it. I felt the same way when Annie was pregnant with Kelly. Um... how about I give Tina a few of her verses, okay?"
