"Wh-what?" Aya stammered. He was still processing what Aubrey said to him. "W-what did you say?" He questioned. "I said I love you." Aubrey replied with a bit more confidence than before. Both of their faces were bright red. Aya froze. He wasn't sure what to do. He felt the same way of course. But he was completely shocked by this sudden approach. But still, Aya couldn't help but approach Aubrey. "Aya? What are you doing?" Aya suddenly hugged Aubrey, lowering his head on her shoulder. "I love you too, Aubrey." Aubrey wrapped her arms around him. They stood in each other's embrace for a while, enjoying their warmth. "Aya?" Aubrey finally spoke up. "Hm?" Aya responded. "Do...you wanna go out somewhere tonight?" Aya simply nodded in reply. "Be a little hard to go anywhere without a ride wouldn't it hun?" A voice called. It was Anna. "M-mom!?" Aubrey stammered in surprise. Aya even more so. Anna simply laughed at this. "No no no! You're fine! You two looked too cute! Anyway, just let me and your father know where you two decide to go. We'll take you there." Aubrey and Aya simply nodded, and Anna let them be. "So...uh...wh-what do you want to do?" Aya questioned. "Would you like to go to dinner somewhere?" Aubrey suggested. Aya simply nodded in agreement and the new couple walked toward the house, holding hands. When they got in, Aubrey noticed Aya seemed a little wobbly, before he toppled over. "Woah! you good Aya?" Aubrey asked with a worried look. "Yeah. Just whiplash from that battle." Aya responded as Aubrey helped him up. "I can make it from heEERE-" Aya said as he felt his body leave the ground as Aubrey picked him up. This caused Aya's face to turn just about every shade of red there was. "A-A-A-Aubrey? I s-said I could-" Aubrey stared at him, cutting him off. "It's OK. I can do this." Aubrey assured. She carried Aya over to the nearest couch, laying him on it. She gave him a pillow and blanket. "You take a nap. I'll wake you up when it's time to go. Aight?". Aya simply nodded in reply. He closed his eyes and simply drifted off to sleep. Aubrey went into the kitchen to see her parents. "Hey." Aubrey greeted them as she sat at the table. "Hiya sweetie!" Anna greeted her daughter. "Did you decide where you and Aya would like to go?" She questioned. "We were thinking about going to dinner somewhere, just haven't decided where yet. He's a little light headed and is sleeping right now. I don't wanna wake him." Anna nodded in reply. "We'll talk about it later. Your father should be home anytime now." Aubrey simply said "ok" and went to go check on Aya. He was out like a light. "Cute." Aubrey thought aloud. A few hours later, Henry returned and after a while, they decided to go to "GrillsALot". A steakhouse that was very high quality and was pretty cheap considering the quality of their food. When the time came to leave, Aubrey shook Aya. "Hm?" Aya woke with a slight groan. "GrillsALot sound good to you?" Aubrey asked the sleepy boy. "Mhm." Aya said. Aya stood up, and while he was still slightly wobbly, he could walk good enough. They all got changed into better clothes and headed out the door. Aubrey held Aya's hand, both out of love, and to keep Aya stable. They got into the car and started to drive. After a bit of driving, they reached the place and the new couple emerged from the bed, along with Aubrey's parents. "We're heeeerreeee~!" Anna declared. "Can you walk?" Aubrey asked Aya. Aya nodded. They walked into the restaurant, sat at a table and waited to order. Suddenly, 2 young men walked up to the table Aya and Aubrey were at. They both had hair covering one of their eyes. One had white hair, and the other had teal hair. One of them spoke. "Hello there! We couldn't help but notice the way you walked in. Would you two happen to be a couple?" The white haired one inquired. "Uuh. Yeah actually!" Aya answered. "How splendid! How long have you been together?" The teal haired one asked. "Actually, this is our 1st day together." Aubrey replied a little wary. "Absolutely wonderful! Say, you probably don't know this, but me and my brother here are famous magicians. And well, normally we charge a bit for our shows, but for new couples like you, we give a private short show on the house! What do you two say? No pressure! All up to you!" The Brothers offered. Aya pondered. "Oi, Aubrey. Do these guys-" Aya was cut off by Aubrey's shout. "Hell yeah!" Aubrey's eyes lit up. She always loved magic. "Very well then!" The white haired one exclaimed. "Come along now, right this way!" The teal haired one instructed. Aya showed concern though. But it made Aubrey happy so he went along with it. "Uh. By the way. What are your names. No offense but I don't think I've heard of you." Aya asked. The brothers looked shocked. "My goodness! Where are our manners brother!?" The white haired brother asked him. "My name is Kira." The teal haired one said. "And mine Is Jira!" The white haired one said. "Name's Aubrey!" She said. "I-I'm Aya." He introduced. "Aya and Aubrey. What splendid names!" Kira exclaimed. They made their way to a booth that was at the back of the restaurant. Inside, there was two benches and a table. Once all 4 were sat down, Jira pulled out a deck of cards, shuffled them, and laid them out. "We'll start with something simple. Pick a card, any card!" He demanded. "You go ahead Aya." Aubrey said. Aya nodded and picked a card. "Don't look at it yet! Now Aubrey, your turn. Pick a card!" Kira exclaimed. Aubrey picked up a card as requested. "Now turn em over and look at your cards!" They both did as instructed. Aubrey got a cocky smirk as she saw her card. The queen of hearts. But when she turned to tell Aya, she saw he had a dark look on his face. His eyes were covered by his hair casting a shadow. "Aya? What's with you?" Aubrey asked trying to look cool but was very concerned. Aya stood up still with that dark look. He was gripping the card so hard that It looked like he might rip it. "Is something the matter Aya?" Kira asked. Aya suddenly grit his teeth and swung his arm up. He looked like he was about to slap the brothers when all of a sudden he slammed the card down. It had a black border and back ground with 4 gold and red orbs. But the most prominent feature was the giant monster skull that took up most of the card. "What the hell?" Aubrey muttered under her breath. She looked at the brothers who weren't shocked, they weren't surprised, they didn't even look curious. Instead, they were smiling. But not the genuine jovial smile they had before. It was one of malice trickery. "Is there a problem Aya?" Jira asked in a mocking voice. "Where. The fuck. Did you get these?" Aya demanded. Aubrey was taken aback. She had never heard Aya use this tone of voice. It was deep, menacing, like of the brothers said anything even remotely undesirable he would break both their windpipes. Aubrey turned to him. "Is that...a doom card?" She asked Aya. He simply responded with a nod. "Seems you have pretty good knowledge on what these are, Aya." Jira taunted. "Tell you what..." Kira pulled out his field card, "If you can beat us in a battle, we'll tell you everything we know." Aya pulled out his in response. "YOU'RE ON, ASSHOLES!" Aya shouted. Jira pulled out his. "Hope you're ready for double trouble Aya!" He mocked. "As fucking if!" Aubrey said as she pulled out hers. They all turned their cards, ready for battle

"FIELD OPEN!"
