It had been about a month and a half since Sally had joined the team. In that time Sally had been caught up with the team's goals and even beat a Masquerade Minion. Despite her unique nature, she got along with the group pretty well, even if she did creep them out at times. Aubrey was sitting on her bed, thinking about all that's happened. It all felt so fast. "Mistress? Is everything ok?" Cendrillion asked. "Yeah. I'm fine. Just processing all this. It's been a lot." Aubrey sighed. Cendrillion simply replied with a "hm". Before anything else could be said, Anna called. "Aubrey! One of your friends is here!" She called. "Coming mom!" Aubrey replied. She ran downstairs, thinking it was probably Jamie or Aya. To her surprise when she opened the door...."HEYA AUBREY!" Sally shouted with a toothy smile. Aubrey jumped back in surprise. "JESUS CHRIST SALLY!" Aubrey said. "Oh did I scare you? My bad!" Sally apologized. "It's...fine." Aubrey said. Aubrey ushered Sally inside. "So why are you here?" Aubrey asked. "Let's hang out!" Sally said. "Huh? Uh ok. Did Aya or Jamie come up with something-" Aubrey started. "Nononono. I mean you and me hang out and go around town for a bit! Y'know, like a girls night!" Sally explained. Aubrey sat and thought for a moment. Truth be told, she wasn't super fond of Sally. She didn't hate her, but she did find her annoying at times. Although, this could be a good opportunity to get to know each other better. Maybe she just needed to warm up to Sally. With a deep breath, Aubrey responded. "Alright sure. Let me go get ready." Sally smiled widely. "YAAAAAY! Thanks Aubrey!" She said. Aubrey sighed. She went upstairs and got dressed. She figured she should take her Bakugan deck, just in case. "Mom! Dad! Going out for a while!" Aubrey called as she went to the front door. "Alright! Have fun sweetie!" Anna said. "Be careful!" Henry added. "Will do!" Aubrey replied. She went out the door to see Sally at the gate on the phone. She looked visibly frustrated and...sad. "cmon cmon cmon cmon...please..." Sally mumbled. The phone went to voice-mail. "UUGH! Of fucking course she doesn't! Why would she..." Sally said with anger. "Uhh...you good?" Aubrey asked. Sally jolted. "Oh! Uh, yeah I'm fine! Don't worry about it!" Sally said. Aubrey raised a brow. "Are you sure? You sounded-" Aubrey started. "Please, Aubrey. Just...please." Sally said. Aubrey wanted to say something, but decided it was best to just nod. "Thanks. Alright! Now let's get out there and run the town!" Sally said, back to her normal personality. "Feel like drinking?" Sally asked as they walked. "No. Alcohol isn't my thing." Aubrey said. "Yeah me neither. By the way, how old is everyone in this group?" Sally asked. "Probably should've asked that before asking if I wanted to drink. But, Aya's the youngest at 18, I'm 19, Jamie is 22 and Wokko is also 19." Aubrey said. "Cool! I'm 19 as well! Good to now everybody's 18 and up." Sally replied. Aubrey sighed, wondering what the point of that was. All she knew was that a night with Sally would be interesting. Before she knew it, they were standing in front of a dance club. "Sally, you know I'm with Aya right?" Aubrey mentioned. "Oh, I know! I'm not trying to get you hooked up or anything! Just figured it'd be fun to bust some moves!" Sally said. She pulled Aubrey inside. "W-wait! How much-" Aubrey was cut off by Sally. "Don't worry bout it! It's on me!" She said. Aubrey shrugged. After a bit, they made it. "Sunshine Club" was the name. It wasn't super large but it wasn't small either. As far as clubs go, it was pretty standard. Which was expected. When they entered, Sally said something that made Aubrey jolt in surprise. "Hey Uncle Pat!" Sally called to a man behind the bar. The man beamed at the sight of Sally. "Heya Sally! How's my favorite niece?" Pat continued. Sally and Aubrey approached. "Uncle I'm your ONLY Niece!" Sally giggled. "Exactly! Anyway, who's your friend?" Pat asked. "Uncle Pat, this is Aubrey! Aubrey, this is my Uncle Pat!" Sally introduced. "Uh nice to meet you Mr. Pat." Aubrey said shaking his hand. "Please just call me Pat!" Pat said. "Ok then...Pat." Aubrey said awkwardly. "Hey Sally? Have you managed to get contact with Tasha?" Pat asked. Aubrey threw a brow up. Sally's face turned more...sad. "No." She mumbled. "Oh. I see." Pat replied. "Who's Tasha-" Aubrey started. "None of your damn business!" Sally snapped. Aubrey recoiled a bit at the sudden outburst. Sally sighed. "I...I'm sorry. That was stupid." Sally said. "Nah...it's ok. Aya used to do that sometimes after 'you know what' happened." Aubrey replied. Pat frowned at first, then smiled, filling up two glasses with soda. "Two colas! Don't worry, on the house!" Pat smiled handing the sodas to the two girls. "Oh hell yeah!" Sally cheered, slurping down her drink. "What the hell? She just switched moods in a second? I wonder..." Aubrey thought to herself. "Uh...why you staring at me?" Sally asked. "Sorry. Just thinking." Aubrey replied. "Ey, Sally? I hate to ask you this, but you mind doing your ol uncle a favor?" Pat asked. "Sure thing uncle!" Sally said. "Would you mind checking in on Robbie? I asked him to take out the trash, but it's taking him a bit. You know how he is." Pat asked. "Dammit Rob. Yeah sure." Sally groaned. "I'll go with you." Aubrey said. "You sure Aub?" Sally asked. "Yeah, I don't mind." Aubrey replied. "Thank you kindly ladies! I'll have another line of colas waiting for when you get back!" Pat beamed. Aubrey and Sally got up from their seats and made their way to a side exit. "This won't trigger some alarm will it?" Aubrey asked cautiously. "Nah." Sally replied. The two headed out looking for Robbie. "No! I'm not gonna! I know what those are!" A voice said with a scared tone said. "Who was that?" Aubrey asked. "That's Robbie!" Sally replied, darting toward the direction of the voice. Aubrey followed. When they turned the corner, two figures were standing over a boy who looked a little older than Aubrey. One figure was male with green eyes and long brown hair, the other being female with blue eyes and blonde hair tied up in a ponytail. "Aw what's wrong? All we're asking is a little battle." The girl said in a mocking tone. "N-Not a chance! I know those are doom cards!" Robbie shouted. Aubrey and Sally looked at each other, confirming with one another that they did in fact hear that right. "And? What about them? You scared?" The man taunted. "I don't wanna lose my Bakugan!" Robbie shouted. "You won't! All you gotta do is not lose." The woman said leaning toward him. "Sally? You thinking what I'm-" Aubrey started before notcing the wide, sharp, manic grin on Sally's face. "I'll take that as a yes." Aubrey smirked. "So what's it gonna be kid?" The man started. "Oi oi oi..." Sally's raspy voice hissed. The three faces turned towards the two girls. "M-Miss Sally!" Robbie smiled. "What do we have here? Tryna force one of our employees into something he don't wanna do? I dunno where you come from, but that's UNACCEPTABLE HERE!" Sally said, bearing her razor sharp teeth at the couple. "But one versus two is just unfair. So how about I step in and call it even eh?" Aubrey moved up, cracking her knuckles. "Well now, looks like you have some friends." The woman smirked. "My name is Ryunoske." The man introduced. "And I'm Miku." The woman said. "I'm assuming you want to take this boy's place as our opponents?" Ryunoske asked. "You bet your ass!" Sally shouted. "Then prepare yourselves! LET'S DO THIS!" Ryunoske shouted. "FIELD OPEN!" The 4 brawlers commanded. Sally and Aubrey looked at each other. "Watch my back, and I'll watch yours." Aubrey said. "Ditto." Sally replied. When they looked back, the field was open. "DOOM CARD SET!" The couple shouted. The cards sunk into the ground as purple ripples echoed. Aubrey gulped, remembering when she lost Monarus to those cards. "Aub. S'ok. We'll get through this." Sally grinned. "Yeah." Aubrey replied. "GATE CARD SET!" 4 cards were thrown onto the field. Green, Blue, Yellow, and Orange lit up the floor. "Subterra and Haos eh?" Sally mumbled. "Allow me! BAKUGAN BRAWL! HAOS STINGLASH STAND!" Miku shouted, throwing it onto Aubrey's card. "Aub you're up!" Sally shouted. "On it! BAKUGAN BRAWL! VENTUS MANION STAND!" Aubrey yelled, throwing Manion at the card Stinglash was on. Manion screeched at Stinglash, who growled in response.
