It had been a few days since Jamie had joined the team. The three would meet in Aya's house. They talked about strategies, especially ones involving the triple node. But they needed to practice, and while battling each other was an option, they needed to battle other brawlers. One day, Jamie came in with a piece of paper that seemed to he a flyer. Aya and Aubrey looked at it with curiosity and confusion.
"A tournament? Why a tournament?" Aya asked. "Think about it. This is the perfect place to get practice without having to risk the doom card. Remember they check your deck for illegal cards and they kick you out the moment they see one. Powerful brawlers galore. Even if we lose, we get the information we need and know what we need to work on in terms of strategy." Jamie said with a smile on his face. This plan seemed flawless. "It's a smart plan, but one problem." Aubrey piped up. "We need four people. And as of now there's only three of us." She continued. Aya sighed and Jamie pushed his glasses up. "Ah. Right. I forgot about that. My apologies." Jamie said. "Well it's not a plan we should completely throw out. It does have some merit. We just need to find a fourth member. At least a temporary one." Dragonoid popped out. "I agree with the Dragonoid." Gaianoid said. "Well discussing this here in this dusty home probably won't do. No offense Aya." Jamie said holding his hand to his side. "None taking. Place is a dump!" Aya chuckled. "I wouldn't go that far! Anyway, how about a small stroll around town? Get some fresh air." Jamie suggested. "Why not? I need to stretch my legs anyway." Aubrey said, getting up. They walked around, getting some lunch while they were at it. They discussed possible ways to get a fourth member, when suddenly..."OW!" Aya yelled out as a volleyball came down onto his head. "Oh crap! Sorry my man!" A boy with blonde hair, a red head band, orange tank top, light blue pants and tennis shoes came out of the bushes, scratching the back of his head. "No problem. Be more careful though." Aya said grabbing the ball. "Right right! Sorry dude!" The boy said. Aya got a sly smirk as he threw the volleyball up and served it to the boy who caught it, stumbling a bit. "Woahohoh! Nice serve little dude!" He said. "Thanks." Aya said. Aubrey and Jamie chuckled. "You're cool! My name's Wokko! Nice to meetcha!" He said shaking Aya's hand. "I'm Aya. This is Aubrey, and this is Jamie." Aya introduced. Wokko gasped. "Woah woah wait. You're Aubrey!? THE Aubrey!?" He said with shock. "Heh. Uh, yeah!" Aubrey replied. "Oh...my...god...it's a total HONOR! You're super awesome yknow? You and your-" He was cut off put a Pyrus Bakugan flying from his pocket. "STRONG BAKUGAN!" It shouted. Its voice was deep and feral. Having a mighty growl that could shake a mountain. Aya was taken aback while Aubrey and Jamie threw a brow up. Wokko clasped the Bakugan in his hand. "Chill Inferneon! You gotta stop doing that!" Wokko scolded. "Uh...interesting Bakugan you have there Wokko." Jamie said, clearing his throat. "Oh! Yeah, this is my partner! Pyrus Inferneon! He's pretty much always itching for a battle." Wokko said holding him up. "Sorry for the crude introduction. I just sensed powerful Bakugan and the fire of battle ignited inside me!" Inferneon said, a bit more calm than his outburst. Aubrey grabbed Aya and Jamie's shoulders. "Group hudle?" She whispered. They hudled together. "Boys, I think we potentially found a fourth guy." She whispered. "Huh? Why? I mean sure he seems like a cool guy but we're looking for strong brawlers." Aya said. "I know. That's why I said potentially. Here's the plan, I'm gonna challenge him to a battle and if he puts up a fight as good as Aya did before you got Dragonoid, we get him on!" Aubrey whispered in excitement. "Sounds like as good of a place to start as any..." Jamie said. "Alright fine." Aya said. Aubrey walked up to Wokko. "Wokko, right?" She asked. "You got it!" Wokko replied with a smile. "Well I have a question for you. Are you interested in attending the tournament that's happening in like a week?" Aubrey asks, hoping the answer is yes. "Well yeah! But problem is I don't gotta team and well...despite how friendly I come off as, people don't tend to like me much." He says. Bingo. This is exactly what Aubrey needed. "Alright Wokko. How about this..." Aubrey pulls out her field card, to Wokko's surprise. "Let's have a battle. If you can put up a decent fight, you can join our team. How's that sound?" Wokko's face lit up. His smile beaming wide. "A chance to battle with AND along side THE Aubrey!? No way in hell can I pass this up! Hear that Inferneon? You get to battle a strong bakugan!" Wokko exclaims as he pulls out a field card of his own. Aya leans over to whisper to Jamie. "Please tell me I'm not the only one who's got a bad feeling about this." He whispered through the left of his mouth. "You're not." Jamie says pushing his glasses up with shaky hands. "FIELD OPEN!" Wokko and Aubrey yelled out. That all too familiar hum of the ring of attributes rung and the circle opened the field, freezing time to a halt. The field surrounded them as both brawlers eagerly reached for a gate card, throwing them down. "GATE CARD SET!" Wokko reached for his 1st bakugan. "Here I come Aubrey! BAKUGAN BRAWL! PYRUS CENTEPOID STAND!" The centipede Bakugan rose on Aubrey's card. She gave a smirk and reached for a Bakugan. "Alright I'll go easy on him. Dunno how good he is so I'll use this battle to gauge his skill level. BAKUGAN BRAWL! VENTUS GRIFFIN STAND!" Griffin roared at the Centepoid as the battle had begun. "Griffin power level at 340g. Centepoid power level at 380g." Aubrey raised her hand. "GATE CARD, OPEN! ATTRIBUTE!" A light flared as the card opened, turning the terrain to a windy arena and increasing Griffin's power by 150g. "Show me what you got Wokko!" Aubrey shouted. "You got it! DOUBLE ABILITY ACTIVATE! BURNED LAND + FIRE TORNADO
