Sally groaned as she woke up. Morning had come and the sun shone through the window. Getting up, she put her shoes on and headed towards the door. However, when she put her hand on the knob, the memories of last night flooded back. A sense of dread weighed down her stomach, like she was about to puke. Putting her ear to the door, she heard everyone out in the dining room laughing. "They don't sound angry anymore...but is it cause I'm not out there?" Sally thought to herself. She backed away from the door, unable to leave her room.

"Ain't no way that happened!" Aubrey chuckled. "It sure did! Pierce ran right into the pole!" Wokko laughed. "Sounds like you two used to be pretty good friends." Jamie noted. "Yeah...I miss those times." Wokko sighed. "It bites that Masquerade snatched him!" Dan griped. "Well yeah, but our falling out happened before the whole Masquerade thing." Wokko added. "Speaking of, where's Sally? She still sleeping?" Aubrey asked. "Oh yeah. She better hurry, or her food will get cold!" Wokko said. Tasha, without a word, stood up and walked over to her and Sally's room. Knocking before entering. "You guys think we might've been a little too hard on Sally?" Wokko asked. "Doesn't matter. It needed to be said." Aya retorted.

"Sally?" Tasha called out. Sally jolted, turning to face her cousin. "Ah you're awake. Come on, breakfast is ready." Tasha beckoned. "Mm-mm" Sally shook her head. Tasha tilted her head in confusion. "Why not?". Sally backed up. Tasha nodded, realizing the reason for Sally's hesitance. "Sally, I understand that you might be afraid of them, but you can't just stay in your room all day. Now come on." Tasha said reaching for Sally's hand. Sally shook at this, but decided not to fight back. They exited the room.

"Ah. There you are. Mornin, Sally!" Wokko waved. Sally raised a hand and waved. "Sally? You good?" Aubrey asked. Sally nodded in response, then both Sally and Tasha sat at the table. "Oh! Sally, I forgot to ask, would you rather have waffles or pancakes?" Marucho asked. Sally opened her mouth to speak, but quickly shut it before saying a single word. "Uh...do you want me to surprise you or...?" Marucho raised a brow. "Oh ok I see what's going on here. Sally, you can still talk, just watch what you're saying ok?" Jamie said. Sally paused for a moment. "P...pan...cakes, please." Eeked out of Sally's mouth. "Sure thing!" Marucho smiled. "See that wasn't so bad now was it?" Aya smirked. Sally only nodded.

Wokko looked down and noticed he was getting a call on his bakupod. "Huh? Unknown number?" Wokko wondered. When he clicked answer the screen showed a man with red hair blue eyes wearing a red shirt with a blue "P" on it stood in what seemed to be a plaza in front of a large building. "Pierce!?" Wokko gasped. "Oh great another one of Antivirus's acts." Aubrey growled. "How did you get my bakupod ID?" Wokko asked. "Don't matter. Meet me in the place that I sent you, in front of the clock tower. I challenge you to a battle. You can bring your friends if you want, but the battle is between you and me. No tricks, and no Doom Cards. Just a 1 on 1 fair fight." Pierce announced. "And how can I trust you!?" Wokko questioned. Pierce didn't say anything. He reached into a small box on his belt, pulling out a Doom Card, then proceeding to rip it in front of the camera. This was met with wide eyes and gasps from the Kara and Brawlers. "Believe me now?" Pierce asked. "To be perfectly honest, no." Wokko shook his head. 'Not an unwise decision, and I don't blame you. I DID leave you for dead. But I swear on my life I don't plan to use Doom Cards or any other sort of trick. Don't get it twisted, I still hate you, but I want one more fair battle between you and me. Just...for old times sake." Pierce said. His tone was a weird mix of anger yet sorrow. "Well, Wokko? Your call." Aya said. Wokko gritted his teeth. "I ACCEPT!!!" He shouted. "Heh. Alright. Don't take too long." Pierce smirked before hanging up. "You sure this is a good idea?" Runo asked. "No. I'm not. But I refuse to turn this down." Wokko said, heading to his room. "Well, guess we should get ready. He did say we could come and I don't see why we shouldn't." Aya said, getting up to get his stuff. "We're gonna stay behind on this one, but we'll be tracking you guys on our bakupods just in case. "Got it." Aubrey nodded. After some preparations, the Kara head out to the destination.
