Chapter 32: Power of Light

"Just stick by me and let me show you how a true Haos master handles this!" Flamingo boasted. "This guy is already getting on my nerves more than Dan and I've only known him for like a minute." Runo grumbled. "Backup is backup. Even if he's irritating, we'll work with it." Tasha said with a stoic face. "I guess." Runo sighed. "Ready or not, here we come!" Julio taunted. "DOOM CARD SET!" Hawk, Julio, and Fantaro shouted in unison. "GATE CARD SET!" The 6 brawlers exclaimed. The field lit up with lots and lots of yellow. "Ladies first." Hawk bowed. "SCREW THAT I'M GOING FIRST!" Fantaro yelled. "I understand you want your vengeance, but would it kill you to be a bit of a gentleman?" Hawk scoffed. "No please. Do go first, Fantaro. I insist." Tasha smiled. "I- uh...ok!" Fantaro blushed. Julio chuckled. "Ah shut it! BAKUGAN BRAWL! STINGLASH STAND!" Fantaro threw his Bakugan onto his card. "Moron." Tasha mumbled. She then motioned for Flamingo and Runo to come close. "We need to get Hawk's Thunderbird out of the way. I don't know anything about Julio, but Thunderbird is a huge threat. So here's the plan." Tasha whispered some more things into their ears. "Got it!" Runo affirmed. "That's a pretty damn good plan! Gotta say, I'm the best Haos user, but you definitely might be a close 2nd." Flamingo boasted. Tasha simply rolled her eyes. "Runo, you start." Tasha instructed. "You got it! Ready, Tigrera?" Runo asked. "I was born ready!" Tigrera growled, ready for battle. "Hm! BAKUGAN BRAWL! TIGRERA STAND!" Runo threw Tigrera onto Tasha's card. "Well, Baldy!? What's wrong!? To scared to fight a girl!?" Runo taunted. "Why YOU!" Julio growled. "Calm down. She's baiting you." Hawk stated. "So!? I can take her!" Julio yelled in anger. "Yeah I gotta say, one Haos guy to another, you really ain't got the balls or the brains! Haos is too complex for you. Go play some kiddy attribute lime Aquos!" Flamingo taunted. "TAKE THAT BACK NOW!" Julio screamed. "You're right you're right. I apologize. What I said was an insult to Aquos! Even that's too complicated for you! Maybe you shouldn't be playing Bakugan at all! Go back to Candyland you muscle baby!" Flamingo laughed. "THAT'S IT! I'LL BEAT YOUR BAKUGAN TO THE GROUND! BAKUGAN BRAWL! FEAR RIPPER STAND! TAKE TIGRERA OUT!" Julio threw Fear Ripper on the same card Tigrera was.

"Tigrera Power Level 450g. Fear Ripper Power Level 420g."

"Gotcha! Now let's put your plan into action, Tasha! GATE CARD OPEN! FORCED QUARTET BATTLE!" Runo commanded. "Huh!? What's the difference between Forced Quartet Battle and normal Quartet Battle?" Fantaro asked. "Simple! I get to pick which Bakugan my opponent uses! And I pick Hawk's Thunderbird!" Runo exclaimed. "Hmph. Very well. GO THUNDERBIRD!" Hawk commanded, throwing Thunderbird into battle. Flamingo then started to do his "Moonlit dance". "What are you doing?" Runo asked. "A special dance for a very special-" Flamingo said. "Throw it." Tasha ordered with a deep and stern voice. "Alright damn. You're no fun. BAKUGAN BRAWL! MOONLIT MONARUS STAND!" Flamingo threw his special Monarus into battle. "You're a peculiar one. I haven't seen a Monarus like you." Tigrera noted. "That's because there is no Monarus like me, dear." Moonlit replied.

"Tigrera and Moonlit Monarus combined Power Level 930g. Thunderbird and Fear Ripper combined Power Level 960."

"We need a boost!" Runo exclaimed. "Say no more! ABILITY CARD ACTIVATE! LIGHT BOOST!" Flamingo played, increasing Moonlit's power by 150g. "Hmph. Hawk?" Julio smirked. "With pleasure. ABILITY CARD ACTIVATE! THUNDER WING!"

Thunder Wing: Ability Card for Thunderbird. Increases g-power by 250. Gives and additional 50g if there's more than 2 Haos Bakugan in play.

"AH CRAP!" Flamingo panicked. "I need to use Cut in Slayer. It'll remove Tigrera from play, but..." Runo mumbled, but before she could act, a golden aura surrounded Tasha. "W-Woah!" Flamingo jumped. "What is that!?" Julio shouted. "OH NO! HERE IT COMES!" Hawk yelled in fear, for he knew exactly what was about to happen. Tasha held a Bakugan to her chest. "I will not allow this to happen. ABILITY CARD ACTIVATE! RAPID HAOS! GO FORTH! HAOS ARCHANGELO!" Tasha shouted, throwing her partner into the battle field. A blinding light shone throughout the field. Once cleared, Archangelo floated down, staring down Thunderbird. "Woah..." Flamingo said with his jaw dropped in amazement. "It's...beautiful." Runo gasped.
