It was the end of a long rain that had seemed to drag on forever. Though the rain had stopped, the gloomy atmosphere didn't go away. Y/n watched with Jace and Vasco as Gun wiped the blood off his mouth, chuckling.
"You... have improved." He said, lowly, staring down at Jake's bloody face.
Vasco and Jace watched, wide-eyed, while Y/n averted her gaze from the scene.
"I'm surprised. I didn't expect you to be this strong." Gun said. Vasco looked as if he had just seen a ghost. "You were pretty good." Gun told Jake, who laid open-mouthed on the cold wet ground. His teeth were scattered on the ground next to his face. Y/n grit her teeth, avoiding looking at the horrifying scene.
Blood seeped out of Jake's mouth, staining the floor. Gun look down on him. "I'll expect you'll be quiet in jail. Or i'll take you tongue out next time." He threatened.
Gun turned to Jace and Vasco. "And you and Tabasco." He added. Vasco spoke up. "Am i...weak?" He asked Gun, surprising the black eyed man.
He grinned at the question. "I don't remember...weak guys." His eyes moved from Vasco to Y/n who had her back towards him. He walked up behind her placing his hands on her shoulders and placed his forehead on the back of her head, feeling her tremble. "But, Y/n... You're a different story..."
She yanked away from his grasp. "Leave me alone...." Her voice cracked. Vasco stared at her frightened face. He...had never seen her that way.

Y/n wasn't really in the mood for going to school, but she didn't really have a choice. She was falling a bit behind because of her visiting different companies during the night, instead of getting sleep. Well, its not like she was getting sleep either way. Nightmares tormented her every night. But for some reason... there are some nights where for a brief moment, she DOES get sleep. Like a brief hour or two of no nightmares... no disruptions... just silence. This silence... has allowed Y/n to rest her head and body.
And speaking of head...
"Y/N!" Vasco yelled after the girl from Fashion Dept., making her pause and turn around just to notice her two friends from Architecture Dept. running towards her at full speed.
"Vasco? Jace? What-?"
Y/n was caught off by her two friends covering her in a tight hug. She was caught off guard but quickly returned the hug. She tried to ask them if they were okay but they beat her to it.
"I-I-I-I S-SAW THAT B-BAD GUY HURT YOU!!! I-I'M S-SO SORRY!! I WANTED TO STOP HIM BUT I FROZE-"
"V-Vasco, hey, hey, its fine. It wasn't your fault, alright?" Y/n says, patting his back, affectionately. Jace massages his neck, smiling.
"Sorry, we uh...we've been trying to get him to stop crying but he keeps blaming himself for you getting hurt." Jace says.
Y/n's eyes widen. "Wait really? Vasco...why're you blaming yourself? I'm the one who went over there to check up on you and Jace. I was worried about you two because you wouldn't answer your phone." Y/n said, wiping Vasco's tears.
"R-really?" He asked. Y/n nodded, smiling. "Yeah. There no way it could've been your fault, second reason being because I'M the one who threw the first punch." Y/n said, looking at h two friends. Vasco wiped his last tears, sniffing.
"Still.... i was really scared when i saw you get hurt like that, that i couldn't even move. I should've done something-"
"NO. You did enough. And i also wanted to tell you..." Y/n started, catching Vasco's attention. "Don't believe a word Gun says." Y/n glared. Vasco frowned, remembering what Gun had told him.
