Y/n jolted awake, late at night, sweat running down her forehead. She breathes out, shakily. She shuttered, hugging her body close. She sniffed, letting out another breath. "Uncle Sinu...."

Y/n gripped her covers, wiping her moist forehead. "Why do i keep thinking about you so often? Recently, i can't seem to think about anything else..."

Y/n's hand shook. She was right. Every since getting Jake and Alexander's letters, she couldn't stop worrying about any of them. Memories kept washing over her time and time again. Every single night held a different memory of them together. She began to wonder if this time... Alexander was right. Should she go with them...?

Samuel... Jake... Jerry... Brad and Jason. Even Alexander. And most of all, Sinu. The day he left... Y/n never saw him again though she looked for him relentlessly.

He was alive. She knew that much. But after that... She didn't know where he could've gone.

Y/n's sleepless nights only got worse after Sinu left. He had helped her a lot with her nightmares. Just one hug or talk is what it took for her to have a peaceful night.

But then...

Sorry.

I'm just like that. There's nothing you can do now, Y/n.

I always did it for myself.

Ha, its always like you to try and see the good in people you love. ...Too bad I'm not worth it-

"AHH!" Y/n eyes welled up with tears, as she hugged her pillow tightly. She cried quietly into her pillow trying to drown away the sadness that made her heart clench in her chest.

What happened to them, really? Y/n just wished everything could go back to the way it was before. When she had nothing to worry about except her grades.

If Sinu was really still alive and well, then... Did he think of her...? Of Y/n? As much as she thought of him?

Y/n supressed another cry at the mere thought of it. Sinu was one of the few people that cared for her even with her flaws. Even with her mistakes and with her past.

Sinu wasn't really her uncle, that much was obvious. But he was the closest person to one because even when she was rude to him when they met, he was kind. There was no one like Sinu. And Y/n knew that well. That's why the day Sinu retired hit Y/n like a truck. And the things he said that day...

Y/n gripped her blanket. "He was lying... He had to be..."

It scared her to think that Sinu never really cared about her. But... Y/n really had no idea how wrong she was for even considering that Sinu didn't care about her.

He thought about her everyday. Wondering... If she'd ever forgive him.

For everything.

Y/n's breaths slowed as she heard her phone vibrate on her desk. She wiped her tears as she picked it up, reading the screen.

She sighed. "Why would i put an alarm at this time...?"

The girl read the note on the reminder. She swallowed hard and turned off the alarm when reading the one reminder she'd never do so early at time...

She got off her bed, beginning to change her clothes. "Kavik, baby, lets go. We're going out for a walk."

Kavik's feint barking from the other room was heard as the girl finished changing. She grabbed the leash from the front door, hooking it onto the dog's collar.
