Chapter Seventeen
Altarvia Kingdom
Being wrong gives you chance to be right.
Astraea awoke, blinked twice, and adjusted to the light before her gaze landed on the nightstand clock. 4:00:00 PM
She blinks slowly as she rises from her slumber position to take a look around.
I'm not sure how I ended up here. She was scratching her neck when she noticed a slight bump on her neck, which caused her eyes to open in surprise and the realization to linger in her subconscious.
László administered a sedative to me. She quickly took her hand off the bed and walked out of the room, only to find herself in the bathroom. Her mind becomes jumbled. She walks back into the room, searching for another door to exit, but there isn't one.
That bloody jerk kidnapped me again. She panicked breathed in and looked about.
"No, no, no, no. Astraea, take a deep breath. You are more intelligent than László. You are aware of this. You're familiar with how this works." She considers her options and looks around for a way out.
Hector walks and passed him the wine glass, László took a breath and looked at his watch. Hector hunches walking away as László takes it.
Let's see how well-prepared you are to exit the space, Ria. By now, you must have awoken. He internally smirks as he waits for her.
Astraea takes some deep breaths as she returns to the bathroom and glances around, her gaze falling on two shower areas. She approaches the right side of the shower door and opens it, only to discover another door connected to the opposite door. She smirks twisting the knob. When a sudden shower began to fall, she jolts and twisted the knob shutting it down almost dripping wet.
"You're a jerk, László!" She kicks the wall violently, and it opens up, causing her eyes to widen. She opens it up even further, revealing the foyer. She sighed in satisfaction as she walked out the door and closed her eyes.
"I am saved!" She speaks to herself and walks out looking around when lights come into view. She walks when a strong smell of oil and metal fills her nostrils. She looks around finding herself in the engine room. Wondering her gaze around she finds the staircase. She takes her steps forward climbing up safely holding her dress in both hands and looking around.
Astraea walks looking around, passing through several closed rooms and climbing staircases again when strong wind and a cool breeze hit her. Her eyes fell around finding the sun setting, and she was standing on the deck of the ship or probably a yacht.
She looked around immediately, finding people in white suits, and her eyes fell on László looking at her like he was just waiting for her. She suddenly felt all her anger and hatred disappear. In fact, they disappeared long ago.
