Chapter Twenty-Five
After Cleaning the entire Cabin Astraea sat on the couch arranging all the paper when her eyes fell on folder-filled pictures. She holds it open finding a man aiming the gun from the far end at her. She gasps as she observes her picture when she was out with Laszlo every time. 'Someone is trying to kill us!' She mumbles when the door unlocking sound comes. She arranges everything and gets up when Laszlo walked inside. She placed the file as he smiled, watching her. "Ready to leave." He asked and she nods her silently. He could sense the change, but keep it at bay. 'I will ask when we get home.'
"We are going home," Laszlo speaks walking inside finding the Cabin neat and clean as Astraea keeps the paper holder in its place and faces him. " You are taking me for dinner as promised." She asked and He nods his head. 'She is a beautiful woman inside and outside both.' He wondered as she grabbed her purse walking closer to him. Laszlo held her bag and holds her waist, pulling her closer to walk outside along with her.
They walked outside together as he opened the door for her and she gets over to the passenger seat and Laszlo slid over to the driving seat. "I have rarely seen you driving." She asked as he put on his seat belt. "Cause I can only drive in Italy and I have the liberty to do anything without getting caught!" He smirks and she shakes her head with a smile, glancing outside of the car and watching security getting the car through the rear mirror.
"Perfect for me!" Astraea smirks while he just chuckles. He speeds up the car while she relaxed, enjoying the car ride. He drove through the dark wood, enjoying the night and cool breeze as Astraea closes her eyes resting for a while.
He was driving when he felt his brakes fail. He felt agitated as he tried again, feeling the brakes fail. His eyes shift watching Astraea over the seat, glancing outside the car window not being scared of high speed.
"There is a problem," Laszlo speaks grabbing Astraea's attention as she watches him and he presses the red button inside the car. "The brakes are not functioning!" He mentioned watching her.
Astraea watched him, "You must be kidding right!" She asked in horror as Laszlo watched her and smiled. "I am joking!" He mentioned and Astraea glared at him and shifted her gaze. He watched and started todownshift into a lower gear while slowing down the speed anyhow and continuously pumping gear in the hope they start to work. His gaze fell on Zale following them close for the plan of action but as he pumped the gear it start to work. He sighed as the speed slow down and they stopped inside the forest. 'Fuck someone is really desperate to kill us.'
Astraea watched the area and then at Laszlo as he just got outside and opened her door. He pulls her outside and another car stops and Zale with a bunch of security gets outside. "What's happening?"
"We are changing the car for security purposes," Laszlo smiled as if nothing happened. Astraea watched him suspiciously but he just leans pecking her lips, and pushed her inside another car glaring at Zale.
