Chapter Forty
Astraea University
After exams, Astraea walks out exam hall watching Alexander talking to someone in the white suit as Shannon stood behind him silently with crossed arms against her chest watching them in anger. Astraea stood confused for a while when she recognized the man in a white suit. Hector!!
She walks around towards them passing through people and stands beside Shannon. Shannon shifts and glances at Astraea as Astraea watched Hector and then her.
"You didn't tell me he was Rodriguez Blood!" Shannon speaks coldly watching Hector hunch and walk away. Alexander shifts facing Shannon while she watched him without expression.
"You know I don't speak between Couples," Astraea says as Alexander walked near Shannon.
"Shannon I know... "
"We are over Alexander," Shannon speaks coldly holding her bag, and turns over her heels walking away coldly leaving Alexander and Astraea alone.
"Can you talk to her!" Alexander asked Astraea about it calmly. Astraea sighed and gives him warms smile.
"I guess she made her decision more quickly than I can make," Astraea speaks and shifts over her heels walking towards her car.
She keeps the bag inside and opens the driver seat gets inside the car driving and starts the engine.
After driving for hours Astraea stops near the small cafe and walks out locking the car door and stepping inside the cafe. The cafe was full of people and soothing music playing in the background. She spotted the corner seat near the window and steps towards it. She takes the comfortably when the barista walks near with the notepad in his hand watching.
"Just Coffee!" Astraea cut short glancing around and then outside the window at the busy street.
'I will be getting married within a few weeks and I am still confused will this be the right decision for me.' Astraea wondered as her coffee was placed in front of her within the minutes and she thanks the barista for picking up her coffee and bringing it near her lips.
The silence for a while relaxed her mind as she enjoyed her coffee. She sipped when suddenly the seat in front of her was pulled and she glanced at the person immediately and her eyes enlarged.
She immediately settled her coffee over the table in hurry and grabbed her bag ready to run but her wrist was grabbed and pulled back on her chair.
"Seeing your reaction I assume you remember me." An evil chuckle left the person's mouth as frightened Astraea sat struggling to grab her wrist back.
"Rocco Bernardo!" Astraea's words left her mouth as she watched him wearing black hoodies covering his head and black shades. He chuckle and grabbed Astraea's coffee sipping while gripping her wrist.
