Chapter Thirty-Two
Vance Mansion
Astraea stepped down the stairs her grey meow large hoodie paired up with winter yoga pants. Her hair was done in a messy bun while she yawn stepping on her mismatched socks' feet. "Morning Love!" Lila steps placing kisses over her temple and Astraea beamed.
"Come your father is cooking." Lila pulled sleepy Astraea along with her towards the kitchen and Astraea immediately chuckles watching her father making the meal. The fresh bread and meal fragrance hit her nostrils as she watched her father taking Polenta out of the oven and placing it on the kitchen counter. It looked devouring.
"You want something warm?" Lila asked pouring milk and Astraea nods head answering. "Hot chocolate!"
"I have already got it ready," Brian says passing the mug to Astraea and Lila chuckles at Brian. Astraea smiles takes the mug and holds it closer to her cold body.
"You both going out?" Astraea asked watching Brian and Lila. Lila smiled and shakes her head negatively. "We home for the week!"
"You both took off!" Astraea asked in surprise and Brian chuckles placing her breakfast-filled plate. "Yes! We are home for our daughter." He answers and Astraea immediately chuckles beaming.
"That means! I can have a barbeque, lots of ice cream, and no University." Astraea says and Lila laughed ruffling her hair. "Yes, to all!" Lila answers between her smiles and Brian chuckles and takes his seat along with Lila.
Astraea eats her breakfast along with her parents while they had small talk takes and jokes in the middle when Brian's cell phone started ringing. He fetched it from his pocket and finds Arawn calling.
"Excuse Me?" Brian says getting up and leaving his seat. Astraea watched him in confusion when her mother pushes the strawberry-filled bowl towards her and he smiles warmly putting them in her mouth.
"Did you tell Astraea?" Arawn asked watching Elizabeth sitting with legal documents of the company.
"Not Yet! But Yeah I will be telling her." Brian states worriedly while taking a glance at Astraea. "Emperor Can wait. I guess." Brian asks and Arawn sighed speaking.
"Ares will be winning the Elections a few months before the wedding. I want it to be perfect as we planned. You will tell her before László starts visiting her again." Arawn informs and Brian agrees. "I will."
Arawn hangs up the call watching Elizabeth engrossed in the file. "Astraea needs to know that the wedding day is fixed. It's better Brian tell or I will personally have a talk with Lila. Between Astraea needs her wedding dress designed beforehand." Elizabeth speaks closing the file and Arawn nods his head.
"We got everything settled in Italy. László wanted to set everything beforehand. He doesn't want Astraea to run away." Arawn informs and Elizabeth nods speaking. "Did László do something that makes him think Astraea will leave?"
