Chapter Fifty-Seven

London, Six Months Later

"Stop the car!" Laszlo demanded as Zale stops the car near the city park. Hector watched Laszlo as he opens the car door and steps out. His eyes fell on security already standing around and parents pushing the children in safeness behind them.

"Just leave me alone here," Laszlo demanded as Zale and Hector Exchanged the look at each other. "But Emperor!" Hector was speaking when Lazlo gave his best shape glimmer that startle the essence out of him and he hushed.

Zale nods and Security gets back in the car and Laszlo enters the park taking the walk around. He steps observing the parents playing with the kids and kids running around chasing each other. Some were laughing while some cried as their mother tried to calm them. He takes near the small river and takes a seat near its ground and picked up the pebbles around in his hands wondering about something.

He glances back at the river and starts throwing them in the river. He kept throwing one by one as they moved further and further until it bone-tired him.

Laszlo sighs and stops while watching the sun go down. 'It's been a long. I have no idea where you are. Either you are alive also. I wish I could be with you.' He wonder and threw the last one and rest his back on the grass watching the sky turn dark.

Laszlo closed his eyes, relaxing for a while. "This is where my son sneaks after work," Laszlo opens his eyes finding his father standing. Laszlo just sighs, getting up and sitting. Arawn takes a seat beside him and picks up the pebble thrown in the river.

"You know I used to visit here after I dumped your mother," Arawn says making Laszlo smile at his father. "You were a certified jerk."

"I was no doubt. Even I got her kidnapped and got back to me along with you," Arawn says watching Laszlo and he chuckles. "You seem like more than Jerk!"

"Well, I was in my twenties what do you expect? But the fact is I was more than a jerk," Arawn chuckled as Laszlo smiled faintly.

"Are you okay?" Arawn asked and Laszlo nods his head.

"Before her Life was easy and simple. But after her, It was like my life found meaning. It was optimistic, complete, and enthusiastic. I was excited when I got home and have time to see." Laszlo explained his heart while Arawn nods his head and threw another pebble.

"But I know it will be fine one day," Laszlo says breathing, watching the city light turning on. "You know when your mother was having our first baby, I was scared to death what if the same happens what happened with Arcane? But then there was my brother who smacked my head and put some relief. I was happy with Elizabeth. I found it when I met her. But was a jerk to hurt her again and again.' But anyone rarely knew why I left her in  Altarvia. I was scared of what was going on around me. I didn't want her to die like Arcane and Rebecca. I just wanted her to be happy even if it meant cutting my heart for her. I did it anyway. I left her for her benefit."  Arawn explained.
