Chapter Forty-One
Astraea Apartment
Astraea pulls her T-shirt down when the closet door opens, and László walks inside observing her. "When did you learn to lie on the face," László asked as Astraea shifts facing him and ties her hair in a messy bun.
"Since you started controlling my life, László," Astraea states as she walks past him towards her bedroom and László sighed walking behind her.
"Ria, don't give me Ares's attitude towards me. We need to talk." László asked and Astraea stops facing him. "Last time I wanted to have conversations with László it didn't end up well. So let's stop pretending and go with our lives." Astraea cut the conversation short when László grabs her elbow and pulls in his arms.
"We are talking about it," László says said as Astraea watched him. "I don't wanna do it!" She speaks finally and pulls away when they hear the apartment doorbell ringing and László sighed, glancing back at her.
"We are discussing it later!" He speaks quickly and walks outside and Astraea follows him behind only to find Ares sitting in the living room along with Smith, Xavier, and Zane.
Do tell me when you both are finished with your killing plans. Astraea states it with great disappointment as she shifts ready to walk back into the bedroom.
"I got you a wedding gift!" Ares stated calmly when Astraea stops facing him.
"And what is it?" Astraea demanded with her arms crossed against her chest.
"You gotta check it; it's in my car," Ares asked. Astraea rolled her walking outside the door and Xavier followed her behind along with Smith.
László was in mid of figuring out what was actually happening when something hit his nose and Hector's eyes widen.
"This is for threatening her for something she didn't do," Ares stated angrily holding his fist and watching László bleeding nose. László figured out Ares punched his face for threatening Astraea with his sword.
Ares stepped near Zale and Zale stood frightened as hell watching Ares. Ares grabbed his throat and hit him with his fist. "This is for not being able to handle your own situation." Ares moves away watching the two of them while László touches his nose finding it bleeding.
"You hit me for her!" László fought when he landed again with Ares's fist. Jealousy overtakes László as he watched Ares.
"Trust me I can take her away with help of Elizabeth and you will never find her again.!" Ares threatened as László gets up marching towards him.
Astraea takes out another gift box passing it to Zane as she observed a car full of gifts. " I hate him for bringing so many gifts." Astraea hissed as she takes out one after another gift passing them to the security man.
