Chapter Thirty-Six

Astraea watched Laszlo dragging the body into the backyard of the villa. For hours he dig his grave and now he dragged Rocco's fallen body.

Astraea stood holding the Shovel when Laszlo threw Rocco's body into the grave pit and grabbed his head arranging it around his neck.

Astraea watched him getting up and grabbing the shovel and putting the mud back in the ground. "Go and get a shower!" Laszlo asked as he stopped and watched her white dress turned into red with his blood.

Astraea watched him and then the body and slowly nods her head walking away. Laszlo resumed his work and buried the body properly.

Astraea was quick to wash the blood off her body and walk back into the living room finding Laszlo on the floor with his back against the couch legs. She quickly rushes to take a seat beside him.

"Laszlo!" She called in worry and put her hands over his cheeks and he opened his eyes watching her tears beaming up.

"I am okay!" He says as Astraea's eyes fell over the knife in his hands and Bullet aside. She looked at him in shock as he opened his mouth.

"You have to do it for me!" He asked forwarding the knife and her eyes fell over his right arm where he was shot.

"I...I can't" She speaks while crying. "Trust me. I have done it several times. Just do as I ask! He said in a weak voice watching her.

Astraea has never seen the weak Laszlo in his entire life. He was always the guy of 'everything got handled.

"You will do it!" He says putting the knife in her hands and her hands shiver in fear and cold both as she moved closer and Laszlo guided her.

After several attempts, Astraea finally takes the bullet out and Laszlo rests his head closing his eyes.
She started to clean the blood and do the stitches as he asked her again.

After an hour of cleaning and bandaging, she pulled him closer in her arms when the door burst open and security walked inside with a gun. Ares was the first one to rush and hector behind him.

Ares's eyes widen as he rushed holding Laszlo and Astraea in his arms.

"She is fine!" Laszlo speaks watching Ares while Ares watched him in anger. "I want both of you to live!" He spat in anger holding Laszlo for support.

At the hospital, Astraea stood beside Laszlo while the doctor did the operation and stitches again for him. Laszlo just stayed awake holding Astraea's hands and watching her.

"We are fine!" Astraea speaks of his thoughts as he brought her hands near his lips. "I would never let anything go wrong."

"Everything is good to go! You will have braces on your right arm." The doctor asked and Astraea nodded.

"You guys are going back!" Ares ordered firmly as he watched Astraea and Laszlo. Astraea nervously moved closer to Laszlo and he smiled.

"You are scaring your daughter!" He speaks kissing Astraea's forehead. Ares just rolled his eyes and stepped in front of her. "You are brave!" Ares smiled patting her head and making Laszlo smile. Laszlo told Ares everything while they were on the way to the hospital.

"I just knew I don't wanna lose my family!" She whispered making both of them smile.

"No one is going to take anything!" Ares says as he gave them space.

 Altarvia Kingdom

Laszlo stood out of the car with his right arm braced and Astraea beside him. They stepped inside together with security and walked every step behind them.

"I am glad you guys are safe!" Elizabeth pulled Astraea in a hug and Arawn suspected Laszlo's arms.

"It will be okay!" Laszlo speak to his concerned father and Arawn nodded. "He is just worried cause you never got hurt!" Atticus speaks watching father and son while Arawn rolls his eyes. "Sometimes I feel arcane have left his ghost behind!" Arawn mumbled and made everyone laugh.

"Well good enough. I can be scary!" Atticus smiled when Sawyer walked holding Arawn's leg.

"You are scary Daddy!" He speaks in his small little sweet voice making Atticus' eyes widen. "That's his first full sentence!" Atticus says with shock making Laszlo laugh and pick Sawyer in his arms with one hand.

"Emperor!"

"I am okay!" He made the declaration as Sawyer watched him. "And you are frightening!" Sawyer watched Laszlo. Astraea burst into laughter along with everyone.

"You are probably going back to Ares!" Laszlo informed and handed Atticus his kids.

"Ares is nice!" Sawyer smiled as his father and Everyone looked at that small guy like he grew two heads.

"Of course, my father is the sweetest person in the world!" Astraea smiled and Laszlo rolled his eyes. ''Wrong Synonyms for Devil!" He mumbled and She glared.

"Let's get you guys to rest!" Elizabeth steps and takes them to their room.
