Chapter Thirty-Two
Peral walked inside and she smiled brightly, hiding something behind her back. "Hey!" She called' Laszlo and Astraea shifted, watching her step inside. Laszlo gets up from the bed, placing a forehead kiss on Astraea and leaving the two alone in the room.
"Hey!" Astraea says, sitting over the bed and watching Pearl. "Just got you this!" She smiled, holding the baby pink bunny in her hands, watching Astraea. "This is cute!" Astraea chuckles, holding the bunny as Pearl takes a seat on the bed and the door closed behind them.
"I remember Ares and Victoria handing it out to me when I was handed back to the royal family on certain terms. Of course not Ares but Victoria your mother," Pearl speaks noticing her features. Astraea's heart comes alive as she hears Victoria's reference. "You met my mother!" She asked and Pearl smiled nodding her head positively.
"She was carrying you in her womb when I met her. I never knew I would meet you till that date. I felt this might be the best gift I can offer you." Pearl speaks as Astraea holds the bunny in her arms and as her eyes are overwhelmed and she held her tears. Definitely, the hormones were playing their games over her.
"She was so beautiful like the first ray of sun like you! You happen to be her replica in every sense." Pearls say as the silence fell between them.
"Do you know the birth has to be taken place in the Palace itself?" Pearl asks grabbing her attention to another topic. Astrue watched Pearl in shock as she asked her again.
"You must be joking!" She speaks Pearl watched her when Astraea's eyes widen. "This is true!' She asked again and Pearl nods her head. "I was caged here until I gave Sawyer birth and he was snatched away from me," Pearl speaks flatly remembering the worst days of her life.
Astraea's eyes widen at the piece of information. "Arawn can never be this cruel. He is the sweetest person I have known!" Astraea says in shock and Pearl chuckles getting up and ruffling her hair. "Fact is you belong to this family. And I happened to be from a rival family of your families. There is a difference." She says getting up. "I'm happy I have my family, Now." She says as she turned walking away.
Laszlo walked with Hector and Zale when Atticus joined him. "Did you tell Astraea about the Birth?" He asked stepping at Laszlo's pace while he nods his negatively.
"I don't have the heart to tell her this rule. while she is planning the safe birth of the baby and here lies this bloody rule. I am changing it tonight!" Laszlo speaks when Atticus chuckled.
"Fact is you can never change it." He says and Laszlo stopped watching him. "I fought that rule and that resulted in Pearl not seeing Sawyer for a long time. Sawyer didn't have his mother in his initial days." He speaks flatly and walks away leaving Laszlo alone with Hector and Zale.
"Kyle gave birth under the same rule!" Zale speaks first time out of his lines with his head facing Laszlo. Laszlo watched him as his eyes met Hector. He cools himself down and shifts his shoes walking away.
