Chapter Twenty-Four
Astraea Apartment
Astraea was sitting on the couch in casual attire reading her text when she felt a gaze over her. She shifts her gaze watching two security and Colt watching her. She sighed and looked at them questioning sarcastically.
"Does your lovely Emperor say anything about leaving me alone and giving me my privacy?" She watched them coldly.
"Empress! It is said to give you privacy when you want but since you are reading books we can keep watch." Colt stated and Astraea glared at his out smartness.
"I need my privacy. Walk Out!" She ordered with a thin line over her lips. Colt nods his head and walks out with the two security guards.
Astraea sighed as the main door get closed and she turns closing her book and grabbed the cell phone from the table. She dialed her best friend Shannon's number and she answered quickly.
"I know you came back bitch from wherever you were. I am dropping by and yes I got your pizza. Love You. See Ya." Shannon answered quickly hanging up while Astraea smiled widely at her best friend.
"She is bitch!" She mumbled getting up from her seat and walking into her bedroom.
She walks into her closet grabs the attire for the day and hangs it up. Taking off her clothes she gets dressed up in a white strapless tapestry top with a ribbon lace-up closure in the back. Made of stiff non-stretch fabric that hugs the body comfortably paired up with white pants and black red high heels. Grabbing the Rev lipstick from the vanity she put it over her lips gracefully and adjusts her hair in messy French rolls. She sprays the perfume over her neck and wrist smiling at her appearance in the mirror.
"Perfect!" She grabs her sling bag from the bag's display and slides in her arms walking into the hall. She walks watching Colt back inside at his usual time and placing the delicious and devouring food and beverage over the top of the table. She smiles at his smartness. Astraea takes a seat on one of the couches when the apartment's main door bangs open. The two security already standing inside pulls the guns and aimed at the door.
"Bitch is here!" Shannon smiles and Felicity turned in a frightening aura watching two men dressed in black suits pointing guns at her.
"Astraea!" She gulps nervously. Astraea sighed and walks near her and embrace her in a warm hug.
"Ignore them!" Astraea mumbles. The two security puts the gun down and sighed standing straight a's if nothing happened.
"Who are they?" Shannon asked nervously watching Astraea take the pizza box and drop it in Colt's gloved hands.
"Long story short! I got engaged to the most frightening man." Astraea speaks casually watching Shannon's frightened eyes turn to her in a confused manner.
