Chapter Thirty-One 

"Can't I just wear anything, then this heavy gown?" Astraea asked Elizabeth and Laszlo at the same time. They both sighed and exchanged looks while she waited for the answer. Astraea stood there, finding so much resemblance between mother and son. 

"Fine!" Both speak together to enlighten her world. "But!" They speak and halt again, watching each other. "Speak!" Elizabeth asked her son and he watched his wife. "The one I get you!" He says and Astraea nods her head and smiles. 

Laszlo gets up, and walks away, leaving the two alone. "You gotta tell him!" Elizabeth asked and Astraea smiled watching her. He kinda has an idea about it!" "You are wearing this tonight!" He says and Astraea watched him still not sure she was going to wear it. "It's Final!" he announced and she nods, looking at Elizabeth for help but this time she was on her son's side. Astraea nods her head and takes the outfit from him. Laszlo smiled and kissed her forehead walking away, leaving the two alone. 

"Ready to wear!" Elizabeth stepped and Astraea nods her head. After dressing up nicely Astraea stepped inside the Ballroom along with Laszlo in their royal outfit. Everyone turns and hunchs in front of them as they stepped toward their seat. Astraea grasped Laszlo's arms as the smell of wine strike her and she felt she will puke again. Laszlo keeps her hands over her back, rubbing her back and easing her nauseous away. 

"Just a few minutes, then we can leave!" Laszlo speaks as Astraea takes deep breaths and the seat beside him nods her head. Atticus walked facing them as Astraea nervously fiddle with her fingers. Atticus smiled at Laszlo when his gaze fell on her. 

"You look distracted!" He asked, alarming Astraea. "Huh! No, I am fine," She speaks in one breath grabbing Laszlo's attention. Atticus just nods his head, leaving while having his last glance at Laszlo. 

Laszlo places his hand over her waist, grabbing her attention. "Are you okay?" He asked and she just nods, looking for Elizabeth in the crowd. 

"Come one! We have to initiate the Ball!" Laszlo asked, grabbing her waist and attention. He dragged her to the middle of big the ballroom.

Astraea watched his green orbs as he just watched her. He held her waist and gown with one hand and the organs starts to play. They moved together on the music as Arawn and Elizabeth joined and then one after another joined them. Laszlo and Astraea were in the middle of the hall under the chandelier moving to music. 

"Are you hiding something?" Laszlo asked again, watching Astraea while she simply nods her head positively and his attention on her grew harder. "Tell me!" He asked. He was demanding, knowing she was hiding something. 

He was watching her when everyone hushed loudly. They didn't have a moment to react as everyone looked at the ceiling. Everyone moved off the dance floor and Laszlo looked up, watching the falling Chandelier as his eyes widen. 

He was about the push Astraea to save her when Chandelier stops and Astraea clutched Laszlo's shirt with fear. Laszlo's eyes fell over Atticus holding the rope along with Zale. 

He breaths, holding Astraea in his arms, and leaves the Ballroom security followed them out. Elizabeth and Arawn rushed out along with them. "Mom, Take her to queen wing!" Laszlo ordered as Atticus and Zale joined him. "Stay out of sight!" Laszlo asked Astraea and she nods her head. Security marched and surrounded Astraea and Elizabeth as they stepped walking away. 

Laszlo shifts facing Atticus speaking, "I Made a mistake. Bernado is alive." Laszlo finally speaks and Atticus sighs watching Zale. 

"He will be dead by tonight!" Atticus announced as another set of Security surrounded Laszlo.

After the long ball Night, Astraea was nervously walking inside the bedroom when Elizabeth walked inside holding the reports. Astraea without word snatched the report reads. Astraea held the reports in her hands as Elizabeth smiled and nods her head. 

Astraea shifts and watches Butlers smiling at her. "I need to tell him." Astraea immediately keeps the reports over the bed and rushed outside holding her gown. 

"Ria, slow down!" Elizabeth's eyes widen as she saw her running away. Butler and Security ran behind her. Elizabeth immediately leaves the room behind Astraea. Pearl was walking when her eyes fell on running Astraea. Her eyes widen as she was about to stop her, but she was fast. The security ran behind her and Elizabeth grabbed Pearl along with her. 

Laszlo held the marked spot along the Atticus tracing Rocco's location when the Royal Courtroom burst open and he glanced at Astraea standing breathing heavily. His eyes gradually falls behind her as everyone rushed and breathed header. 

Astraea stepped inside and Laszlo left everyone Pearl and Elizabeth stepped inside and the door closed. "What's happening? I asked you to stay out of sight!" Laszlo asked when Astraea grabbed his arms speaking. 

"I am pregnant!" She smiled, watching and color of his change.

"Run that by me again!" He asked in bewilderment, not sure he heard her right the first time. Astraea nervously watched him, opening her mouth. "I am Pregnant!" She speaks as if was not sure of her herself whether she was telling or asking.

His eyes widen as he stood there while Astraea nervously fiddle with her finger. She was expecting this expression from him. 

"Fuck!" She heard him. Astraea nervously looks and planned to leave wondering if it was the worst time to tell him when suddenly she felt herself in the air and her eyes widen watching Laszlo. 

"I am going to be Father!" He says as he puts her hands over his shoulder watching his bright eyes and cheeky smile. "You are not angry?" She asked nervously while he chose to ignore her comment, 

"I'm chuffed to bits." She immediately chuckles at his British accent when he twirls her with happiness and put her down to kiss her forehead. "Why did you tell me sooner?" he asked, figuring out the reason for her sickness. 

"I was not sure!" She says while he just smiled and kissed her cheeks making her giggle forgetting their surrounding. Everyone smiled while Laszlo embraced her, resting his forehead against hers. 

Arawn smiled and walked away with everyone else leaving two alone. "I wanna it to be a girl!" Laszlo speaks while Astraea smiled, hiding her face in his neck and he picked her up in his arms walking to their bedroom not caring about any rules or regulations.
