Chapter Fifty-six

Two Days Later
He walked again, watching her on the ventilator as his pink cheeks and nose turned and he held his pain walking inside keeping the flower in the vase, and taking a seat beside her. He tried to smile and hold her hand but he couldn't smile. He just watched her breathing in and out soundly carefree from the world. He leans and moves her hair strands away from her face, gasping her hand and sitting there watching her.
Ares walked opening the door when his eyes fell on Laszlo again, there holding her hand and staring at her. He just sighs and closes the door silently and leaving them alone.
Ares walked out finding Zander and Arawn standing watching him. Ares just sighs taking a seat beside them and leans his head over the chair staring at the ceiling. "He is still there in," Zander asked and Ares just nods in response.
"He loves your daughter more than life!" Zander expresses rubbing Ares's shoulder. "He Should let go of my daughter now," Ares says as he moves to watch Arawn,
"I am taking her away as soon she recovers more. I won't leave my daughter now. I have got the chance to make everything right by her side. I want to do it," Ares says observing Arawn. Arawn chuckles watching Ares and then looking at the empty lounge.
"You are asking me to ask my son to RIP his heart and move on without her life she never happened," Arawn says in anger watching Ares. "You said once I can ask anything in return after I saved Atticus and Alexander's life. it this what I ask Rodriguez's family in return." Ares says straightforwardly.
"You can't do this," Arawn asked in disbelief ad Ares stood up. "Don't make me take Astraea away without anyone's knowing. Brian and Lila are ready to let her go 'cause she is my daughter Arawn." Ares says in anger and Arawn chuckle standing up and watching him.
"I can't. Have you seen Laszlo there hasn't been an hour without her. My son loves her and I can't ask him to let go of her. I am selfish for his love," Arawn says in anger walking away and Ares sigh in anger speaking.
"That will make me take Astraea away from him forcefully. I don't wanna do it. Talk to your son before I take my daughter away," Ares says losing his patience as Arawn turns to watch him.
"Let's see how you take her away," Arawn threaten, and Ares chuckled as Smith stood to frighten along with everyone else. Ares stepped facing Arawn. "Do watch your eyes!" He smirked and left the area as everyone witnessed his frightening sight after years. Arawn stood rooted watching after a moment ago.
"You shouldn't have done that. You woke up the demon inside him. He would anything for his daughter," Zander says watching Arawn. "He has forgotten who am I. I won't let my son Suffer," Arawn says with equal determination shifting and walking away.
