Chapter 1

Traveling over 200 miles in twelve hours, Kristen AshKey could feel it in her muscles as they ached with every movement she made. By the time she reach her porch, she was so tired and drinched in blood.

Dedrick AshKey, her eldest brother had called for her help to take care of some rogue werewolf pack that had been killing any the came across just for sport.

Dedrick is the Alpha of the Royal Family Military Pack. She was the Bata until her true calling came and she had to leave the pack and her family behind. She can offer her help but she couldn't stay with them.

Werewolves have been around for many centreries but have been know for just a few years by humans. With so many innicent humans being turned there's more fighting, killing and it is hard for the Royal Family to cover up. With cell phones and internet, realility soon was out.

Panic went world and the Royal Family as well as the world's government stayed busy. It took a few years for the people to except them but still there are some that still would take matters into their own hands.

Being a pure blood as well as being the daughter of the mighty Royalty Alpha. Kristen duties as well as her brothers and sister were to keep the humans and their kind safe from any rogue or other supernatrauls.

Gritting her teeth, it was painful changing back into her human form. Being tired, she wasn't paying attetion to her surrounding until she heard the shot before the burning. It so happened that there was a hunter hunting hogs. Luckily they hit her in the shoulder, not her heart.

Walking through her door and down the hall to her master bathroom, she headed over towards her shower. Her light brown shoulder length hair hung over her shoulders as she leaned over to adjust her water the way she likes it before stepping in.

Letting the coolness wash over her tone body, blood filled the bottom of the tub. Her pain was about to get worse as she had to concentrate on the bullet that was still in there.

Focusing on the bullet, she concentrate through the pain as she could feel it slowly starting to come out. Growling from the pain, a sigh of relief escapted when she heard the bullet hit the tub.

"Damn hunters." She grumbled as she reached down to pick it up.

After washing up, she warmed the back of the tub before laying down and letting the water relax her sore aching muscle. Just as she was about ot dose off, she came close to cracking her tube when her fire pager broke their tones.

Yipping from the shooting pain then growling at the situation that accord, she got up just as dipatch came over the speaker.

"Freemont to Fairstone EMS and Dewy Fire Department. We have a report of a two vehicle 10-50 North bound on I-54 at the 186 mile marker. We do have injuries and intrapment."

After the second page normally and officer or a senior member will receive it. Insted she heard, "Dewy 1553 page received."

"10-4 1553, 2236" Dispatch came back.

Growling frustrating, she knew all to well who it was, Kent Wallis. He's only been on the department for a few weeks and already thinks he knews everything about being a firefighter. What's sad is that if he drops that act, he would be a really great firefighter with the proper training.

Even though her body could heal itself fast then hers, the bullet wound needed a day or two to completely heal. Drying off, Kristen wrapped her wound up before grabbing some clothes and hurry to get dressed.

Hurrying down her driveway and pulling out onto State Road 57. There, she turned her red and white emergency dash lights on. Pushing her old truck, she heard Shelly Adkins put Rescue 151 in route.
