Chapter Twelve

Chapter 12

Having a huge chunck ripped out of her her shoulder as well as being shot, Kristen had to take at least a week off from work so that her body could heal.

During one of them days, Manny had called an asked if he could come over to talk about having a meeting on what had happen that call were she had that fight.

Still be sore and stiff Kristen welcomed him side when he had arrived. She lead him tours the kitchen table were she had poured him something to drink before they got down to business.

"My phone has been non stop." Manny started. "They have been asking me questions that I have no answer to."

"You know that won't show if they see my truck at the station." Kristen stated.

"I thought about that." He agreed. "What I was thinking is, I'll have a mandatory defriefing meeting at the station tomorrow. We'll discuss on what happen. I'll text you when I need you to come up there. I want to make sure that everyone will be there. Even the ones that weren't."

Agreeing, Manny had a few question he had writen down that the members had asked. He wanted to answer a few of them so that they wouldn't think to much on Kristen coming up there.

That next afternoon, Kristen got Manny's text. She wasn't in to much of a hurry as headed tours the station. Pulling in she was surprised to see that everyone had showed.

Walking into the office, everyone went dead quite as saw her through the glass window that looked out into the bay. They turned their attention tours the door as her as she made her way inside. She felt their eyes on her as she walked over tours the empty awaiting chair by Manny.

They stayed quited as she could feel that some of them were afraid while some was unsure about her. Not wanting to scare them off, Kristen started off, "I understand your feelings tours me, but let me say that I am still the same person you met the first day I walked through that door to join this department. It's just now you know the truth about me."

She let her last statement linger as she watched them. There wasn't much change as she could still feel and smell some of their fear. "I know you have lots of questions. I will answer as many as I can but you have to understand that there are some that I cannot."

Taking a deep breath she began by saying, "So, what would you like to know about me or being a werewolf?"

No one said anything as they just looked at her. Some were upset, some were scared as some were trying to make it out.

Then Jacinto broke the silence by asking, "Will you change if you have sex with a werewolf?"

Shaking her head, Kristen replied, "No. You won't change if you have sex with a werewolf."

"So you know then?" Matt spoke up.

Starting to feel her cheeks heating up, "Yes. I would know."

"So you stay around long enough to find out. Or do you just leave after you have your fun?" Carey had a hint of anger mix with disappointment as he was not only one of her fire members but her pastor.

I bit embarrassed, hurt and upset at the same time, Kristen's voice stayed calm, "Yes, I have stay with them over night. The only way someone would change is that if my "BLOOD" got into their blood stream. Saliva, sweat or any other bodily fluids will not hurt you."

She respected Carey as she was a bit hurt on feeling the dissapointment coming off him.

With them questions opened the door to the others as the meeting went on for hours. Manny ordered some food as he didn't want to break the connection Kristen was getting from the members. She had answered just about every question that they had asked.
