Chapter 3

Kristen hadn't heard from Justin since that day she had to put him in his spot. However she did go check on him when she made her rounds to check her territory.

After her rounds she informed her father on what had happened to him. She made sure that he knew Justing wasn't a threat. He just needs to learn their ways.

"Did he join your pack my daughter?" His voice had a hint of enthusiasm.

"No father. I told him that is his decision he alone should make. I advise him to think about what he wants to do."

"Are you sure he's not a threat?"

"Yes father. He has alot of pride but his wolf is good. He knows not to cross me again as he felt my Alpha powers." She assured him.

"Will he try to battle you for your territory?" He asked.

"If so. He will be disappointed and set up for a few days. I had to put him in his place in our first encounter, he'll be fine. He just as a lot to learn and I'll give him a little more time before I make the call for that." She assured him.

"Well keep me informed on how he's doing." he adviced then reminded, "You know being a True Blood Alpha, your pack will find you."

"Yes sir, I know. If he wishes, he is welcomed to join me. I will put our incounter behind me."

Bidding her father a good-night she hung the phone up and started looking at the paper she recieved through the fax from the Pentagon. They inform her on what they report as suspicious werewolf activities which she will discuss at the Alpha meetings they have every three months.

Hours had past and Kristen's stomach letted her know that it was time to quit and get something to eat. Not feeling like cooking she decided to head to Fairstone, only ten miles from her.

Heading to her room, she might as well put on her military type officer uniform. Being a true blood werewolf, she and other's work somewhat like a law officer, but she doesn't get along to well them as she is ranked senior officer.

Halfway through her meal, her cell rang. Not reconizing the number, "Hello?"

"Kristen?" She heard a guy's voice on the other end.

"Yes. Who's this?"

"Hey. It's Justin." She could heard a hint of worried as he fell silent.

"Is there something I can help you with?" she asked.

Hearing a sigh, "Could I come over and talk to you."

Knowing it took a lot for him to ask for help, she couldn't help but smile, "That would be fine."

Hearing a sigh of relieve, he asked, "Would it be alright if I come over now?"

Luckily her government job she could go in at any time she wants, "That's fine. Do you know where I live?"

"Uuh no." she heard back.

Giving him directions, "I'm in Fairstone. Just give me time to get there. Have you ate?"

"No. I can't for some reason." He answered.

"Alright then. I can whip something up fast that will help you."

Pulling up to her house, she didn't see his truck there yet. So grabbing the bags of grocerys, she hurring in and started cooking.

By the time the food was just about done, she saw head lights coming up her drive. Getting her table ready she heard a knock.
