Chapter Thirty-Three

Chapter 33

Taking a very quick shower to get as much of the sex smell off her. Kristen turned the water off, grabbed her towel that she hung over the shower real, dried off and put on some of Jax clothes before storming outside to find everyone waiting on her.

She was surprised to see her brother were back. "What is so damn important!" Kristen roared as she stepped onto the porch.

"Alpha Taten is going to attack." Dedrick went straight to the point.

"What? Where did you hear that?" She wasn't ready for this, nor them as she was still a bit weak.

"As we were headed back we ran into a handful of his pack. They were making their way down here to find a place to group up before the fight. We got one of them to tell us everything they knew. He said they have an army heading this way." Rider told her.

"We don't have enought here to defend off. They will over run us." Dedrick stated.

Setting down on the steps Kristen looked over at her eldest brother, "Did they say what time they planned on attacking?"

Shaking his head, "No, but he found out that we know his plans so he'll want to change it. He wants it to be a surprise attack. So there is no telling when he will strike." Dedrick told her.

Running her fingers throught her wet hair, "I have a very weak pack. I have young ones and they need to go somewhere safe." Kristen said to whoever.

"What's going on?" Jax asked as he stepped out.

Kristen could smell that he had taken a quick shower too. Giving him a kiss she heard a growl coming from Dedrick. Shooting him a look, he growled at her this time stating that he still didn't like the fact that her mate is a Silver Blood Hunter.

"It's Alpha Taten. He's planning on attacking." Kristen told him.

"When?"

"We're not sure but you need to stay here. I may send my younger members here for you to keep them safe." She saw the disappointment in his eyes.

She knew he would fight side by side with her as he had fought and killed her kind before, but he doesn't have any silver in her anymore and he was still weak even though he didn't show it when they mated.

"I can fight just as good as any of you and I'm going to fight beside you." His tone was serious as he looked her straight into her eyes. "I put two and two together and realize that you are the Alpha when I felt the power when you yelled at the two wolves attacking me."

"I was going to tell you." she was a bit worried.

Giving her a kiss, "It doesn't change anything." he kissed her again, "And I'm going to fight beside you. I don't care what you say."

She knew a mate could change an Alpha. They could change them to be better or worse. She knew he could fight but he is still weak from being sick.

"We will talk about it later." she gave him a look that said 'Please don't argue with me in front of everyone.'

"We will." he agreed.

Sighing she turned her attention over towards Dallas, "Go back to my house. Go to my office and get my seal from inside my desk. It will be in th center drawer along with the special paper, the lighter and a pen under it. It might be to late but I'm going to try to asked for help from the waco pack. They are the closes ones near me."

Kristen showed him where her key was hiden. Before he left, she added, "Bring the younger ones back with you. I'm going to send them somewhere."

Dallas nodded and took off.
