Chapter 25

At the Sheriff's station, "One of your 'Pack' members is in bad shape. She might not make it." The FBI told Kristen as he added, "She's very young to be mix up all this. If she dies, you will be charged for two counts of murder."

Kristen knew that Emily was left there to dead. Thankfully Dallas got to her just in time and made a healing paste that helped her stay alive until the DPS came to her house. They had arrested Dallas and called CPS on Nicole and Nathen and took Emily to the hospital.

Being interrogated for close to twelve hours, Kristen was getting tired as she wasn't saying nothing to the FBI. She says just enough to prove her innocence but they don't belive her as she is a wolf an all wolves are bad rather they done something or not.

The door of the interrogating room swung open and Kristen was surprised to see Amber Quin, Ethen's mate walked in. "My client has nothing more to say." she firmly told everyone.

"Who are you?" the man asked.

"I'm Ms. AshKey attorney." She told him as she sat her briefcase on the table.

"Your father sent me to represent you and your pack. I'm the new Royal Alpha's attorney." Amber told as she saw Kristen nod but kept her thoughts close off from her.

Kristen could see clearly the claim mark Ethen gave her. She felt a small sharp pain hit her but the Jax entered her mind. She smiled to herself as she pictured him, remembering what he tasted like on their first kiss.

It's been eighteen years since Amber had seen Kristen. She knew she was the reason she had left. Back then Amber felt nothing but anger and pain coming off Kristen. When she walked through the door, she felt it for a brief moment then something change. She felt different now.

Kristen was impressed on how well Amber was dealing with these FBI guys as they were accusing her and her pack on killing this Silver Blood Hunter. It started to got heated as Amber was explaining that another wolf pack was the one that was killing as they are after Kristen's pack.

That brought up another heated ordeal as it took Amber over twenty-four hours to clear Kristen and her pack of all charges. Kristen knew she was good but she didn't know how good until now.

"Thank you." Kristen said as they walked out of the police station.

"You're welcome." Amber told her as she added, "I was just doing my job."

Walking towards her goverment car, "I know you need some rest. You are welcome to stay at my house as I have a spare room you can use. You can leave tomorrow sometimes."

For what had happen between them, Amber was surprised at the offer. "I would like that. Thank you." she smiled as she headed towards the passenger side.

Before cracking her car, Kristen unlocked her glovebox and pulled out her gun, badge and cell phone. She noticed that she had missed several calls from her office.

"This is Agent AshKey. I just been released and returning the miss called.

"Yes ma'am. Agent Parker was trying to get a hold of you. He's in his office right now. Let me transfer you over to him." the lady on the other end said.

"Agent AshKey?" she heard Agent Parker answer, "I wanted to inform you that the Blackout team does have the body and they are working on him now."

"Have they found any identity of the victim?" Kristen asked.

"He is a Silver Blood Hunter named Jax Brixton."

"WHAT!" Kristen came to a complete stop.

He couldn't be Jax, could he? He didn't smell like him as she had smelt him when he was bleeding from the plane crash she had pulled him out of. She didn't feel nothing either when she was around him. Yes she knew it was a Brixton from the silver in his blood but Jax never came to her mind.
