Chapter Thirty

Chapter 30

It took a few moments for Kristen's eyes to focus when she finely opened them. Seeing Marlena there, a hint of fear swept over her.

"There is nothing to worry about." Marlena assured her, "Jax was the one who called me for help."

Looking over at her mate she could see so much pain in his eyes, "I told her everything that happened." He told Kristen as he kissed her hand again. Tears slowly started to fall, "I am so so sorry....I thought..."

Wanting to comfort him, Kristen was still to weak to move, "I don't know what I would have done if your sister couldn't have saved you."

Looking back over at Marlena, "I left as soon as I got everything I needed." Marlena could feel that her baby sister was still fearing something.

"No one else knows about you and Jax and what he had done but Lance and Ethan. I had to get them here as well as just a handful of my pack to help keep Alpha Taten's pack at bay because one of his members saw you get stabbed and knows you are weak to defend your territory."

Sensing that something was wrong, "What is it?" Kristen took a painful deep breath."Dedrick has been calling me wanting to know what is going on. Why is Ethen an a handful of my pack is with me." Marlena sounded worry.

"Dedrick is to much like father." Fear came over Kristen.

"I told him that you were still having trouble this Alpha Taten so I brought a few members to help." Marlena told her, "But then he asked about his Bata, Ethen an if Lance was with them being that he was on his shit list because of who is soul mate was."

Fear came over Kristen. Dedrick was just like their father an if Lance pissed him off because of who is soul mate was. Just imagine what he'll do when he finds out about hers.

"Don't worry. If they show up. I will be informed and everyone will keep them away." Marlena answered her little's sister's feared look.

Still being so weak, that was all Kristen could do before she blacked out again.

"Kristen...Kristen..." Panic rushed through Jax.

She's ok." Marlena assured him. "She's still weak and her body couldn't handle any more. Give her some time, she'll wake back up soon and I'll give her something to help strengthen her. You need some too not that all the silver is out of your system."

A few days had past and Kristen was getting a bit stronger as did Jax however being human he was still weaker than Kristen. As for Alpha Taten's and his pack, they were slowly starting to advice as Dallas and the other's had engaged in several fights.

Ethen informed Kristen that he was testing them being that there was a different pack here, but the battle will be coming soon once they get what they wanted.

With the silver completely out and her wounds all healed, Kristen still had to gather her strength. Jax however still was weak but he was getting his color back.

With food in her stomach, Kristen could feel her strength slowing coming back. She knew that it would still be to painful to shift into her wolf form but within a few more days she could be able to.

Jax was still afraid to touch Kristen even though he had spent several horrible days throwing up the silver that was in his body.

Marlena had given him something too to help ease his stomach and told him to drink a lot of water and powerad.

Still being weak an afraid Marlena told Jax that she'll help Kristen wash up. Even Emily and Kelly came over for the first time to help as they brought some of Kristen's clothes over.
