Chapter Thirty-Four

Chapter 34

The day so far has been quite. It felt good to run in her wolf form as Kristen stayed close to Jax house while patroling, the other would go further out.

By night fall, Kristen was hoping that the Waco pack was that far off. She had a feeling that it was just a matter of time before the battle would begin.

Making another round around Jax house, Kristen saw him sitting on the porch. Walking up and resting her head in his lap, he gently rubbed around her ears.

Resting for a bit, Kristen heard her fire tones as well as Fairstone, Tappen and Belton on his base scanner. "Freemont to Dewy, Fairstone, Tappen, Belton. We have two several acres woods fire in Dewy district.

One is off of 489 East of Dewy, the other is off 57 South of Dewy." Panic could be heard in the dispatch's voice.

"Dewy fire received, can you get Bannen and the forestry department in route too please." Kristen heard Manny come over.

"They're here!" Dallas roared to everyone. "They have me surround!"

"They have me surround too!" Dedrick came in.

"Me too!" everyone else also said at the same time.

"What is it?" Jax heard a soft whimper from Kristen.

"Are they here?" seeing her nod, "Let me get my things."

Quickly running into the house he grabbed his bag he had ready. Stepping back out on the porch, his eyes widen when he saw that his house was surrounded by wolves.

Their growls could be heard and they were ready to fight.

He felt the air get very heavy as he knew it was coming off Kristen. She is using her True Royal Alpha powers to try to weaken them down but he knew it wouldn't work all that well.

With her head low, her ears pinned back and her teeth was clearly seen, she waiting for them to make their move.

Fighting off two to three wolves at a time, Kristen not only had to keep her mind on her fight but she would look back to see if Jax was holding his own as he too was fighting more then one at a time.

Felling a sharp burning she knew someone sank their teeth in her. Whipping around, she miss but as they went after her again, she countered and took them down. Ripping a huge gash in their neck.

Kristen looked around, she realized that alot of these wolves are newly turned. Then her eyes fell on Alpha Taten as well as Jax.

"Is that him!" Jax spotted a huge wolf watching the scene in front of him.

Seeing Kristen nod.

"Then go after the bastard!"See her shake her head, "I will be fine!" he assured her as he manage to put down another wolf that was charging him.

Seeing her still standing there "Go. Kill him and this will stop!"

He was right. If she could kill the Alpha, the battle will be over until they receive the order again from their Beta. So she must kill them too for the battle to be completely over. Because once their first and second is killed they will retreat back to their territory.

Seeing Taten take off, she took off after him. He was bigger, older and fought more battles than her but she'll be damned if he was going to steam roll his way in and take her territory.

He was fast. They ran through yards, across roads and into the woods. She starated to smell the smoke from the fire that they were called to. She had a hunch that they were the ones that started them.
