Chapter 18

"Are we going to be fighting them too?" Nathen's voice held a hint of fear.

Nathen, Kelly, Nicole and Emily were Kristen's youngest. Even though Kristen has been training them, she's not going to be putting them in this fight. Now if they ended up being in a fight, hopefully they could hold their own until help arrives.

Smiling warmly, "No. You, Kelly, Nicole and Emily will be going to school as normal. Remember, our mind link are strong and if they show up there. You can get a hold of me and we'll be on our way."

"What if they come after dark?" He was so scared that Kristen got up and sat beside him on the couch to comfort him.

"We will be patrolling our area around the clock. We'll be ready if they show up here. Just remember your training. I know we haven't done much but trust yourself. Someone will be coming to help." she gave him a hug as she looked over at Kelly, Nicole and Emily.

Leaving the pack house, Dallas and Justin follower Kristen back to her house. Setting around in her living room, "These wolves are close to rogueing. They are strong as they somehow manage to fight through my True Royal Alpha power.

The one that was acting in charge told me that he was already disobeying his order. So not only was he fighting me but he is fighting his Alpha. I didn't get any type of Bata vide from any of them. So they must be the Alpha's grunt team." Kristen informed her pack.

Being a True Royal Alpha, Kristen could send a mental image of the guy to everyone. Looking over at Dallas, "Do you know them?"

"Yes." Dallas answered. "The guy that was in charge is Michel Stainly. He's Alpha Taten's main wolf to get his dirty work done. The guy to his right is Clayton Fisher and Dean Wilder is on the left."

"He said he had someone watching this place. Is there anyone else that runs with them?" Kristen went on.

"Heather Bennett. She's Taten's sister. Also in the pack was Jason Jones, Vance Colt and last is Bobby Kieth. This pack is very dangerous, but Heather. She's more of the eyes in the pack. She can fight don't get me wrong but she's their scout and she's fast."

"When is this fight going to take place?" Britten asked as he walked through the door after getting off work.

Looking for his daughter, "She's in the pack house." Kristen answered his vide. "I'm not going to put her and the other young ones in danger. If the other pack gets by us, they know the safe hole, and they know enough fighting to hopefully hold them back until one of us get to them." Kristen assured them.

"We need to come up with a battle plain." Justin said.

"We will." Kristen agreed. "Dallas, is there anything you can tell us about them." Nodding, he began.

The day was long and quit. By night fall, Kristen told her younger pack members to stay in the pack house. She told Emily that she was in charge on protecting them as she was the oldest.

Wanting to keep this battle close, Kristen only patrolled a mile around her house and she separated everyone. Justin stayed close to the house to watch over they young one, Kristen and Lance were taking the middle section and Dallas and Britten was the full mile.

"Anything?" Kristen asked everyone.

"They're here!" Dallas announced, "I got a fresh scent but it's going in circles."

"Be careful. You told us they were the muscle of the pack so if you get jumped, don't be heroic and try to fight them yourself. If you need help call out." Kristen told him.
