☀️Chapter 7~The Match☀️

Hinata peaked from behind, revealing his beautiful hazel eyes. The rooster stepped back, blushing furiously. He clenched his chest, as if holding his heart, everybody looked at Hinata's eyes. They all blushed, even Karasuno who have seen his eyes daily. The way is shined in the sunlight, making it look glossy, made everyone's breath go away. Ukai got pissed and yelled at everyone to start stretching, while Takeda led Hinata to his teammates, Coach Nekomata chuckling at Coach Ukail's pissed face. After their warm-ups, they set up and got in position. Everybody stared at Hinata, confused why he was upfront. They brushed it off, thinking he would just be receiving, leading to be the next libero. But little did they know what was coming up...

Nekoma got to serve, Karasuno's libero cleanly received it, leading Kageyama and Hinata getting a chance to their attack. Hinata held his stance, then immediately started running like the speed of light, making Nekoma shocked. He jumped an incredible height, Nekoma too shocked to block him. It was so silent, all you heard was the ball and Hinata landing majestically. Coach Nekomata stared in shock aswell, causing Coach Ukai and Takeda grinning proudly with an evil aura. Finally, after a couple minutes, Nekoma focused on the game now knowing what to expect from the tangerine. Karasuno served next, Nekoma almost didn't receive it but did doing a decent attack, Hinata quickly one-touched it letting Kageyama serve to Asahi. Gaining another point. Coach Nekomata immediately called a time out so quickly in the match. Nekoma went to their coach, he spoke up.
"That little number 10 sure is an interesting player, especially his speed." They all agreed.
"Do you have anything, Kenma?" asked Kuroo. Kenma replied, shaking his head as a no. They all sigh in disappointment and just decided if Hinata were to run up then one of their middle blockers would go after him, for now. Time out ended, them continuing their match. Inuoka desperately tried keeping up with Hinata, with a success as he one-touched the volleyball. The team caught on and looked at their coach wondering for a solution, he only answered with a smirk confusing Karasuno, until they focused their gaze on Hinata. Wondering, they saw him thinking deeply until the whistle blew. The score was Karasuno 6 and Nekoma 3, they were catching up. It also being their turn to serve, they aimed it close to Kageyma to throw them off, hoping it would stop their attack. It only set Kageyama off to toss it a little lower but Hinata still jumped high and slammed the ball through Inuoka's hands, it made him wince in pain and soon getting over when he landed on the floor the same moment as Hinata. They looked at eachother straight in the eyes, creating a comfortable sensation. They stopped when their teams both either graduated them or gave them pity. They rotated once again, with Kuroo/rooster head was blocking Hinata.
"My my~ Chibi-chan~ You're shorter than all of us but is the one beating our asses? Impressive~" Hinata blushed at the comment, making Kuroo smirk deviously. Unfortunately for Nekoma, even Kuroo, their captain and tallest, wisest middle blocker, couldn't even block Hinata as well. This continued on for hours, having multiple deuces, ending with Nekoma having 40 and Karasuno with 42. They were all incredibly tired but Hinata was surprisingly calm. Nekoma had their time to talk to Karasuno's coach and Takeda, asking a bunch of different questions about the short, chibi, tangerine (as they described him). They were overwhelmed by the questions, telling them to raise their hands and wait to be called on. With Karasuno, Coach Nekomata was praising them, mostly just Hinata. Hinata only nodded with a soft smile, making everyone feel warm by his presence.
"You have such a great personality, Number 10. I hope to have more practice matches with you and Karasuno in the oncoming years." Hinata was left astonished, Coach Nekomata had to return to his team. They all headed on the bus, but Hinata had to go to the bathroom first. While walking, Hinata was humming his bathroom song, until he bumped into something, or someone?
"Hmm? Oh, Hey! Chibi-chan!" yelled the rooster.
"Hello, Shoyo..." mumbled Kenma, looking up from his game with a smile.
"Nice game Chibi-chan! Your blocks and jumps were amazing!" complimented Kuroo, Hinata only replying with the grin that could light up a room. The two blushed lightly, Kuroo then immediately hugged him, lifting him up in the air. Hinata patted Kuroo's back, then they both let go of eachother and Hinata waved goodbye to them leaving them both with flushed faces. The rest of Nekoma saw them and went their way, asking why they were blushing especially Kenma  since he barely showed emotions to anyone. He just replied with a 'hmm'.
*Back with Karasuno*
"Role call, respond to me when I say your name." everyone was called and they all entered the bus. Going back home, most took naps, listened to music and relaxed or looked out to see the scenery (that being Hinata). Today was very tiring, even for Hinata but he just didn't show it.
