A Silent Sunshine {Hiatus?}

☀️ Chapter 31 - The game of NEVER HAVE I EVER! ☀️

Recap:

"Hey! Move over!" Oikawa yelled at Kuroo who was trying to sit on the left of Shoyo because Asahi already took his right.

"G-guys, is this really necessary?" Asahi tried to calm them down, worrying for Shoyo and his food. Shoyo only sipped on his juice box and held Asahi's hand under the table.

"I don't think they can hear you, Azu-kun." Shoyo whispered, Asahi sighed in defeat and continued eating. It went on for awhile, until Kenma eventually came over and took the spot.

"Hey Shoyo." Kenma looked at him, Shoyo looking back. Oikawa and Kuroo just settled on the other side of the table to admire the orange beauty while eating.

"Hm?" He said, putting his juice box down. Kenma smiled at him then pointed at his hair, Shoyo was confused.

"Cute.." Kenma thought

"May I touch your hair?" Kenma asked, shocking the other three. Shoyo nodded and easily leaned into his touch, sitting on his lap and cuddling up close to him.

"Aww" They all murmured, still stuffing their faces full of food. They all eventually finished and went to their rooms to relax before playing.

The teams got mixed up and every room was filled with people with very same tastes. Many of Aoba Johsai's teammates were grouped with Fukurodani, enjoying their company. Date Tech, Johzenji and Nekoma bonded a bit, not a very loud room surprisingly. Then, there was the whole of Karasuno with few of the other teams.

"What are you guys doing here?!" Noya and Tanaka yelled at the group of people surrounding Shoyo. Kenma was still holding him and petting like a cat, wondering why he was on the crows' team.

"Oh we're allowed to be here!" Bokuto side glanced them, mostly focusing on the sight before him. Noya and Tanaka huffed but they sat down to admire Shoyo as well, everyone in the room in a full circle. Sugawara and Oikawa suddenly had an idea simultaneously.

"Do you guys want to play never have I ever?!" They stared at eachother, laughing afterwards. Majority of the group agreed, but others were hesitant.

"Well, how do you play?" Yamaguchi asked, sweating nervously. Suga and Oikawa went wide eyed, they were shocked someone didn't know how such a great game wasn't known how to be played.

"Really?! How have you never played!?" Oikawa was then hit in the head by an angry Iwazumi, his gaze was enough to get the message across.

"Basically we all raise our fingers, each one of us will say something we haven't done and if they have they put a finger down. Whoever has most of their fingers by the end wins. Easy as pie!" Suga smiled, they got it now and wanted to play. First up was Ennoshita, he had a devilish smirk.

"Never have I ever gotten scores lower than 30 on an English test." Noya, Tanaka, Kageyama, Yamamoto and Bokuto lowered a finger with an ashamed look. The group laughed at them, waking Shoyo.

"Huh?" Their attention was back to him, Kenma told him about the game.

"Oh, sure." He rubbed his eyes and held out his hands, Asahi showed loving eyes and were returned by a tired smile.

"Alright I've got one, never have I ever been caught sneaking out of the house." Kuroo had his regular cat-like grin, two people lowered a finger.

"I was...." Terushima cut himself off, everyone urged him to finish his sentence but was obviously embarrassed.

"Wait, did you fall or something?" Terushima started to glow, the circle erupted into laughter at his stupidity, Terushima hid his face with the nine fingers.

"Hold on a minute-" Everyone settled down enough to pay attention.

"How did you get caught, Hinata?" Daichi pointed at Shoyo, who was now only holding up 9 fingers. Everyone went dead silent, they started to imagine scenarios. The sound of someone clearing their throat brought their attention back.

"I-i accidently um, slammed the front d-door and my dad heard. Hehe.." Shoyo rubbed his neck and sat deeper into Kenma's lap, they found his voice sweet and smooth and didn't pay much thought of what he said. The tension in the room was both comfortable yet unsettling.

"Oh! I got a great one! Never have I ever stuffed meatbuns in my face before!" Bokuto gladly lowered a finger, clearly not understanding the rules. They all stared at him in disbelief and Shoyo laughed a bit before lowering his own finger, now two down.

"Meatbuns are my favorite." Bokuto lit up and professed his love for meatbuns too.

"Okay, okay you total bores. I've got one, never have I ever gotten seduced by someone. Ha!" Oikawa smirked confidently, but majority of them lowered their fingers which made him no longer feel special.

"I'm not t-too surprised, seeing how you all look." It was subtle, but Shoyo winked at them which everyone flushed. Who knew he had such power, he even held back his laughter to not embarrass them any further.

"U-uh, guess I'm next. Never have I ever stripped in the middle of a match!" Kinoshita obviously directed at Tanaka, but Yamamoto also lowered a finger. Nekoma and Karasuno were disappointed in their teammates, having flashbacks.

"Oh~ Keke, I've got one." Yamaguchi smirked, everyone in suspense of the spice.

"Never have I ever gone on a date with Shoyo before." Yamaguchi and Asahi bother lowered their fingers, the group stared at them with jealously. This was an excuse for Yamaguchi to brag about having taken Shoyo on a date before, it's not how this game works but it sure as hell made it even more competitive.

"Wait- does it count if I'm Shoyo?" He was genuinely confused and so am I, they actually thought real hard about it and decided not to count it.

"My turn! Never have I ever been called the best libero by my sunshine!" Noya lowered his finger, it soon began to be about who had more time or who was called what by Shoyo.

"Never have I ever been beaten by him in a rock climbing race!"

"Never have I ever had a sleepover at his house?"

"Never have I ever been given a strawberry cake slice baked by Hinata!"

"Never have I ever Hinata sleep next to me."

"Never have I ever toss to him!"

"Never have I ever pet his hair."

"Never have I ever been hugged by Hinata while everyone stared."

"Never have I ever played the last match against Hinata!"

"Never have I ever played rock, paper, scissors with his sister?"

"Mever have I ever seen such a beauty like Hinata..." Akaashi said, everyone stopped. Shoyo was blushing and hid his face, he couldn't take it from all the great times with others he had and was having. Akaashi said that to focus on one dear thing.

"Shoyo." Kenma blurted out in the silence, Shoyo uncovered his red face and pouted.

"You guys didn't have to be so genuine like that..." he looked away, everyone looked at their hands.

Aone, the guy that no one noticed was there, had won. They all groaned but wanted to play a different game, but before they could decide Shoyo hugged Aone as a congratulations. Aone then brought him to his lap and cuddled him while the team spilled their ideas of what to play next.

A/n: What should they do next? I've got many ideas but want to hear you guys'! Also, I'm sorry not even updating since new year. I don't know why but on Christmas I got sick then I had to isolate and i couldn't get any ideas flowing and just watched YouTube, luckily I'm negative and no longer need to isolate! And I've just watched the new movie Android/Mother and I absolutely hate it for making me question so much and me with my brother we yelled at the TV.
