☀️Chapter 16 - a strawberry dessert! 🍓☀️

-Asahi POV-
"H-he kissed me...on the forehead..."
I thought, his lips felt to soft...I wonder what it would be like to kiss him. I looked at the clock and noticed the time, it was 5 minutes before class started and I needed to rush. I quickly grabbed my things and dashed to my class. Lucky for me, I was a minute early and sat down on my desk.

"...he said we can be lovers...I have a chance!"

-Narrator POV-
The whole time in class, Asahi was distracted on what Hinata had said to him in the clubroom, that the teacher called him multiple times to get his attention.

"Mr. Azumane! Can you please pay attention, this is the fourth time. One more, and I have to send you to the principal."

"Gomensai (sorry), sensei!"

"Sigh....as I was saying...."

{~Time skip~}
Asahi went out of the class and was then dragged by Noya.

"Hey! Asahi! After class want to have lunch together with the team?!"

"Not so loud Noya, and sure I will...is Hinata going to be there?"

"Oh~ why would you want to know?"
Asahi blushed, making Noya laugh.

"Don't mind, we all hope for him to be there and I was just going to ask him! Want to come along before you go to class?"

"S-sure"
They both walked to the first years, everyone gave Asahi weird looks, he felt uncomfortable.

"SHOYOOO"

"Hmm?"
Kageyama and Hinata turned to look at their senpai, Hinata smiled as he ran to Noya. He got picked up and swung in the air while being hugged. He got put down and looked at Asahi, and gave him a big smile. Asahi's face grew red once more.

"Hey, Shoyo and Kageyama! We just wanted to ask if you two want to join the team for lunch!"
Hinata looked at Kageyama, he shrugged. Hinata nodded in agreement. Noya was jumping, skipping and shouting while going back to his next class while Asahi was trying to keep him quiet. They both waved goodbye to their senpais, and only Asahi waved back.

{~Time Skip to lunch time~}
Everyone was eagerly waiting for Hinata to come, Tanaka looked over to the entrance and waved for him to come. Hinata saw them and walked over and took a seat beside Suga and Asahi.

"Alright! Everyone is here! Let's dig in!"

"Itadakimasu"
Everyone took out their bentos, but what was surprising was that all the first years had a tiny box with the same design.

"What's that?"
Noya asked. The first years all looked at eachother and smirked, they opened the box and inside was a strawberry cake. It looked so delicious!

"WOAH! CAN I HAVE SOME?!"
The chaotic duo yelled. The first years began laughing, everyone but Hinata was confused. He simply sighed, he took a box from his bag and gave one to each and every one of them. They opened it, and saw a strawberry cake. They were dead silent until...

"YOU MADE THIS HINATA/SHOYO/KOUHAI?!"
He nodded with a smile. They looked at the cake slice and some of them began crying (Tanaka, Noya, Suga & the forgotten trio), the rest of the team had a hard time making them calm down.

For the rest of the lunch, they ate and talked. But when they took a bite from the cake, their eyes sparkled (except the first years that simply closed their eyes in delight, especially Tsukishima). Hinata chuckled at their antics and continued eating his own piece of cake.

"I'm glad everyone enjoyed the cake, especially Kei-kun...he sure does love strawberry cakes like Yama-chan said."

"...I think I'm happy with them..."
