☀️Chapter 23 - Shoyo's dilemma☀️

"What's taking you guys so lo-" Tanaka stood silently, enraged by the sight of his best bro so close to his beautiful kouhai (crush)

"Ryu"

"Yuu" They both said intimidatingly, scaring Shoyo. The tension between them was so thick that it felt like it was going to suffocate him. Shoyo let out a whimper, alarming the two.

"Ah! Sorry Shoyo, we didn't mean to make you scared!"

"Yea, Hinata! We're sorry, we won't do that again! At least not infront of your cute face..." Tanaka mumbled the last part, but they meant it. They truly cared for Shoyo and didn't want to make him sad in any way. Shoyo smiled, making their hearts flutter.

"Let's go, Daichi is going to be mad if we're any later!" The other two nodded and sped off to start their day.

That experience awoken something in Shoyo, the feeling that he felt with Asahi. He liked the fact that both Tanaka and Noya were kind to him and maybe fought over him.

He didn't know how to deal with this, how could he love more than one person? Questions flooded his head as the game infront of him continued on.

"Hina-chan!" Shoyo snapped out of his train of thought to see Yamaguchi.

"Sorry...I was thinking..." he quietly said, Yamaguchi nodded and talked to him while being switched in and out.

Morning practice ended and they all left to go to their classrooms. Shoyo quickly ran up to Asahi, grabbing his arm.

"Hm? Oh, Shoyo." They both turned to look at eachother, not many people were around since they were still pretty close to the gymnasium.

"C-can..we meet e-eachother at lunch?...I want to talk about s-something..." Shoyo said, worrying Asahi a bit. His tone did not seem happy, was he upset about their relationship? Has he gotten tired of Asahi already? Thoughts flooded Asahi's mind, only being brought back to reality when Shoyo gave him a goodbye kiss.

"Love you!~" Shoyo skipped away, leaving a stunned Asahi. That was his 3rd time getting kissed on the cheek by Shoyo, he wanted a little more but had no intention of rushing. He then walked to class with Suga and Daichi.

The first years all had the same class in the morning, sitting next to eachother and striking up conversation. The teacher soon came in and everyone settled down.

"Today we are learning English vocabulary. Everyone, please get out your grammar books and continue your work from last week." Everyone did as told and for the rest of the class silent, there wasn't any trouble in the morning.

The second years, they're a different story. Noya and Tanaka kept giving eachother death glares, scaring their class (except the forgotten trio who could care less). The teacher was also afraid, but continued their lesson nonetheless.

Lunch came around as Asahi walked with his friends to the cafeteria, then remembered Shoyo.

"Sorry, I just remembered that I have somewhere to be! Bye!" He ran off to the first years classes, scaring everyone around. He looked for Shoyo's classroom to see him with Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yachi and Yamaguchi about to walk out the class. He waved to get their attention, but didn't receive it.

He waited by the door for a couple minutes until the first years got out to walk to the cafeteria. He stepped infront of them, waving once more.

"Hey guys, Shoyo said he wanted to talk about something?" The first years looked towards Shoyo, who nodded, confirming he did. The first years were pisssed but let Shoyo go with Asahi. (Side note: they haven't told the team yet about their relationship)

Shoyo grabbed Asahi's hand and dragged him to the back of the school, letting go when they stop.

"What do you need to talk about?" Asahi asked, Shoyo looked at him with guilt in his eyes. Asahi sweatdropped, were his earlier thoughts true? All it took was Shoyo sighing to turn his attention to Shoyo.

"Am I weird...?" Shoyo quickly said. Asahi felt offended, how could the angel insult himself like that?

"What do you mean?" Asahi needed more context, what exactly did he mean by it.

"...is it normal to like more than one person?" Shoyo rubbed his arms softly, nervous that Asahi might break their relationship. Asahi was simply shocked, he never thought about sharing Shoyo to someone else.

"It's normal, but why do you ask?" Asahi assumed why, but he needed to confirm it.

"...this is what I wanted t-to talk about..." Asahi let his shoulders tensed, what if Shoyo prefers the other people than him? Asahi felt tears prick his eyes, until he felt warm hands caressing his face softly.

"Don't worry Azu-kun, even if I have these feelings for others doesn't mean I won't love you any less..." Asahi was warmed by those words, he knew his love was for Shoyo and for him only. He snuggled up to the hands and they cuddled for the rest of the break.

"...so what is this called Azu-kun?..."

"It's called being polygamous, Shoyo. Liking more than one person at a time and maybe being in a relationship. There's this thing called a polyamorus relationship and it's completely normal to be in one. As long as you have their consent." Asahi was good at explaining, he was smart and easy to understand. Shoyo loved that about him and his hugs, Shoyo nodded and they continued to cuddled.

"Thanks for explaining Azu-kun! We have to go to c-class now, bye~ love you!" He got off Asahi and jogged back to his class, leaving a smile on Asahi's face.

"I wish I could keep you happy forever, but if there's more than one for you...then so be it" Asahi walked off and a certain group of first years had heard everything, blushing at the fact that Shoyo could speak so sweet. As well as, having another potential lover, hoping it would be them. Who knows...

A/n: just went to my first ever live hockey game ever, was amazing. I felt so familiar, maybe because I went to Disney on ice a couple of times. And I'm very sorry for the many author notes. Alright, hope you enjoyed! [Love yourself~♡]
