A Silent Sunshine {Hiatus?}

💚🧡 Chapter 11 ~ YamaHina date 💚🧡

It was 3:40, Hinata was only a few miles away from the park. He took in the scenery.

'Oh how beautiful' he thought. He continued his walk, until he saw Yamaguchi. He went up to him from behind and hugged  him, surprising him. He turned around and hugged back, then sharing of warmth then went on with their date~

They went to a small café, it's aesthetic was animals. The workers wore animal ears, and maid/butler outfits. They even had kitties and puppies!

Yamaguchi saw this place the other day and decided he should bring Hinata with him, and he did so.

Once they entered a small kitten with orange patches and white fur came up to Hinata, rubbing against his leg. He looked down and picked the kitty up, Yamaguchi looked at him and felt his face heat up.

"Hmm? Oh...are you okay Yama-chan?" Hinata quietly said, but to Yamaguchi, it sounded so pure as if an angel was talking to him.

"Wait- HE'S TALKING TO ME?!" Yamaguchi internally screamed.

"U-uh Hinata...didn't Coach say that you only talk to people you trust...?" he asked the ginger, who's still carrying the cat.

"Yes...I trust you Yama-chan..." he said, with a small smile. That warmed Yamaguchi to the CORE, his crush- I mean...Hinata had enough trust in him to talk. He had another wave of heat when he realized Hinata had called him 'Yama-chan', TWICE.

"Are you okay Yama-chan?" the ginger seemed worried, he quickly turned to him.

"I-I'm fine Hinata! I-It's just that if you call me Yama-chan...can I call you Hina-chan?" that nickname made Hinata blush lightly, which Yamaguchi found cute because it added much glow to his features.

"Of course, Yama-chan." they both smiled at eachother then walked to the counter they meet with one of the employees. They rang the bell and the employee turned around.

The male employee was in a butler outfit with cat ears and immediately noticed Hinata.

"Welcome to Sweet & Savoury Cafe, how may we help you today?" the employee said, looking at Hinata with a playful smirk. Hinata only smiled which made him blush and Yamaguchi fuming.

"We would like a table for TWO please." Yamaguchi said smiling, emphasizing the two and a visible irk mark on his forehead. The employee glared at him then looked back at Hinata and noticed he was playing with the kitten in his arms.

Both the employee and Yamaguchi blushed at the sight. He then walked to Hinata and brought them to a table.

"Here you go, your menus and call me once you're ready." he said then walked off.

"Hm...what do you want Yama-chan?" Yamaguchi was going through the menu looking, then found something.

"I'll go for the fries, what about you Hina-chan?" His favorite, soft and floppy fries. Hinata scanned the menu, then found his favorite.

"Ooh! I'll go with the egg-sake rice (Tamako Kake Gohan)!" He said with a bright aura, Yamaguchi giggled at his cheeriness and called for a waiter. To his displeasure, it was the same one that hey met at the front.

"What will you order from us today?" he said, eyeing Hinata who was still playing with the kitten. Yamaguchi growled under his breath.

"We'll have the soft fries and egg-sake rice." the waiter bowed and sent a wink to Hinata, which went unnoticed by Hinata. Yamaguchi was ready to kill this guy, but he didn't because he wanted to admire Hinata.

Minutes of talking and playing went by and the waiter came back with the food. He roughly gave Yamaguchi his fries, which weren't soft at all, and gently gave Hinata's his. It had a peice of paper taped onto the bowl, it was the man's phone number and 'text me! You seem interesting~♡'.

Yamaguchi peeked over (they were on opposite sides of the table), he felt outraged. This man really had the AUDACITY to flirt with Hinata right infront of his face.

Hinata on the other hand, felt unsure if he should add him to his contacts. He felt he shouldn't, but didn't want to seem rude. He decided he would wait until he got home and ask his parents what to do, he trusted them rather than his own choice.

Yamaguchi then looked at Hinata, he looked troubled. He wanted to ease up the tension.

"Well, we should start eating now. Shouldn't we, Hina-chan?"

"Mhm, I bet it's delicous!" Hinata said with his hands in the air, like a child. Yamaguchi laughed. Hinata placed the cat beside him, it snuggled up to him. It seemed to favor him, it was adorable.

Fast forward, they finished their food and left. Not before the same waiter came up to Hinata.

"Please text me later." he said with a smile, Hinata could only smile back then turn to Yamaguchi and held up the kitten. Yamaguchi got the hint, he went up to the man.

"Would your manager mind if we take this kitty as our own?"

"Oh of course, for a cutie like him." He smirked, making Hinata blush and Yamaguchi fighting the urge to punch him.

They both waved goodbye then were outside, it was a little windy. Hinata's hair looked majestic, it flowed threw the wind and so did the kitten's fur. Yamaguchi felt blessed to witness this moment, and he was. It was like Hinata was God's favorite, and he was, he was perfect. Yamaguchi thought.

"Hey Yama-chan."

"Yes, Hina-chan?"

"Should I walk you to your house?"

"Oh, I feel like I should walk you to your house."

"Hehe, okay!"

While walking, they got to talk about many subjects.

Y: What are you going to name your new cat Hina-chan?

H: What about...Chiro

Y: That's a wonderful name Hina-chan!

H: Hehe, arigato Yama-chan! Say...how has your float serve even going?

Y: Better, still needs more work though. Hehe

H: I'm sure you'll get there soon...

Yamaguchi stopped, he started to blush furiously. Hinata was concerned and turned to him, he saw his face and only giggled before he felt his forehead and began dragging him to his house for he was now concerned. Yamaguchi was all better and he went home, and that was how their day went. Hinata was going to the vet after school tomorrow to check the cat, he already introduced the cat to the family and they were happy to have them...
