A Silent Sunshine {Hiatus?}

☀️ Chapter 27 - The Crows Have Arrived! ☀️

Recap:

"Are all of our bags in the trunk?"

"Hai..." it was early in the morning, 4 am to be exact, they were all outside of the school waiting to enter the bus. Everyone was tired, having no energy at all, if they nap on the bus they should have enough energy to play.

The ride took around 4 hours, not including the bathroom breaks. The team was energized when they arrived, Yamaguchi having to wake up Shoyo but they all got off and grabbed their bags.

"Woohoo! We're here!" Noya jumped, making the team chuckle.

"Hell yeah we are!" Tanaka and Suga synchronized, the three highfiving eachother.

"How come we never do that with eachother?" Narita said, obviously pointing it at Kinoshita and Ennoshita. They both gasped dramatically.

"How dare you, Narita! You're the one who doesn't pass me my water when I ask!" Kinoshita shouted at him, it was Narita's turn to gasp.

"Well Ennoshita told me that you called me baldi's basics ripoff #2!" Kinoshita's eyes widened and glared at Ennoshita.

"Hey! I'm just being a good friend!" The three got into an argument about their friendship, which was amusing to the team and coach while Takeda and Asahi kept trying to calm them down. They eventually got inside the gymnasium and saw multiple people on the different courts.

"Woah! So many!" Keishin and Takeda walked up to Coach Nekomata with Coach Naoi who were viewing Nekoma v.s Fukurodani, they chatted while shaking hands with eachother. Karasuno only stood at the doorway, confused on what to do.

"Did...did they just leave us?" Suga asked. The team nodded and sighed, they continued observing their opponents for any weaknesses. Until they came across Date Tech, they froze.

"Right....they're here too." Asahi gulped, Shoyo noticed and held his hand reassuringly. The whistle then blew, signaling the games ending.

"Alright, it's break time and the next matches are at 9 am. Meaning we have an hour to put our stuff away and stretch, follow Takeda-sensei to your rooms. I have something to do."

"Hai!" The team followed Takeda to a big room, enough to fit all their futons. They set up and got changed.

"I'm so excited! Did you see their awesome serving!?"

"Of course I did!"

"Yeah, pretty scary...heh"

"Suga! Don't be such a wuss like Asahi!"

"Hey!" It went on until they finally finished changing into their uniforms. They made a grand entrance, hiding their little sun.

"Hey hey hey! It's the fallen crows!" The team's aura changed in a millisecond after hearing the nickname, everyone in the gym was focusing on them now.

"Geez, so scary..."

"What the hell?!"

"Why are they doing that?" Whispers went around the gym while Karasuno started to stretch, then the players' eyes quickly spotted a bundle of orange hair.

"Ooh~ who's the cutie?"

"*Gasp* its chibi-chan!"

"Shoyo..."

"Heh, chibi-chan.."

"Hey hey hey Agashee! Who's the orange?! Isn't he adorable looking?!"

"He is, please calm down..." Karasuno then began their spiking drill, putting all their effort in rage while hearing the comments about their sun.

The whispering stopped when Shoyo went up to spike, some teams looked at him in awe, others in confusion. No way was he able to spike, he's too short in height.

Shoyo sighed, Suga set the ball high and as quick as a bullet he leaped up and smashed the ball to the ground, gracefully landing on his feet with and expressionless face.

He whipped his head to look at the teams, seeing new and familiar faces shocked and amazed. He smiled and waved at them, leaving them blushing.

"...Shoyo never ceases to amaze me." Kenma smiled, his friend Kuroo looking at him smugly.

"He's not bad~" Kenma rolled his eyes and kicked the rooster in the shins. The whistle blew again and the games began...
