A Silent Sunshine {Hiatus?}

☀️Chapter 13 ~ At practice☀️

"We w-were talking a-about our o-outing yesterday, Yama-chan!" Said Hinata smiling, both Yams and Tsukki were surprised. For both different reasons.

"THEY TALKED ABOUT OUR DA- I MEAN OUTING YESTERDAY?! OH TSUKKI IS GOING TO KILL ME!!!! but he SO was cute..."

"Why did he call Yams 'Yama-chan'?! I want a nickname too..."
They both thought.

"W-we should g-go eat n-now!" He said, noticing the weird silence.

"Yep! L-lets go!" And for the rest of the day, the trio stayed together and talked with Yachi and Kageyama as well. That is how their school day went, until practice came...

*At Practice*
When the group of 1st years entered, they were all laughing. Even Tsukishima, which surprised everyone else in the gym.

"Looks like you guys had a fun hangout." said Suga, the vice-captain with light gray hair.

"HEY! TSUKKI! ARE YOU LAUGHING?!" yelled Tanaka, a second year wing spiker with a shaved head.

"BRO HE IS!!" cried Noya, a tiny libero with a blond highlight in his spiked up hair. (A/n: for fanfic purposes, I'll do what others do and make Noya is a couple cm's taller than Hinata.)

"Oh shut up, idiots." Tsukishima retorted then got shouted at by his senpais telling him not to disrespect them. He just there staring at them, not listening.

The rest of the first years went to change, except for Yachi. Kageyama and Yamaguchi were alone with Hinata in the clubroom, they kept stealing glances of Hinata but he was turned around.

They all left together and when they looked inside the gym, it was chaos. Mostly by Noya and Tanaka. They both kept shouting, Suga being almost as chaotic and Daichi being scary with Asahi being a wimp.

Tsukishima was watching from a far until he yelled out to the 'king' and Kageyama went up to him to fight while Yamaguchi ran up to them to try and stop it. Leaving Hinata alone.

Hinata looked to the corner to see the (forgotten) trio, they were trying to keep a distance between them and the disaster of a team. Hinata went up to them, they all greeted eachother.

The trio began chatting with Hinata, he only nodded or made clear face expressions. After 10 minutes, Ukai & Takeda came in. They saw what was going on.

"OI, STOP IT! ALL OF YOU IDIOTS!" Ukai yelled to get their attention, mainly to stop them. He looked to the corner seeing the trio with Hinata still chatting.

"LISTEN UP NOW!" He finally got their attention, he smiled internally. He cleared his throat before talking again.

"Let's start practice, stretch. All of you!" They all began stretching, they all kept eyeing Hinata. And when I mean all, I mean everyone but the adults (that would be pedophilia).

After minutes of stretching, they began their running laps. Halfway up the mountain and back down, they went by pairs. First was Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, then Noya and Tanaka, Suga and Ennoshita, Narita and Kinnoshita, Asahi and Daichi and lastly Kageyama and Hinata. Hinata and Kageyama were fast but Hinata seemed really calm while Kageyama had a distraught face. Going back down, they were second despite being the last ones to go up.

Next was the spiking drill, Kageyama and Suga got into their setter position with Noya on the other side receiving. In the line for Suga were Asahi, Ennoshita, Yamaguchi, Narita and Daichi. For Kageyama, Tanaka, Tsukishima, Kinnoshita and lastly Hinata. On Suga's side, they got compliments after each of them spiked but on Kageyama's he got troublesome with Tsukishima. And with Hinata, he didn't say anything when Hinata looked at him for feedback. He only blushed.

Then was the service drill, Hinata helped them all better their serves and Yamaguchi with Tsukishima got special treatment by Hinata talking with them. Hinata said, overall, your float serves are getting better Yama-chan!

The last drill was receiving, they all did great except the three 1st years had trouble keeping up with it due to the lack of energy. Hinata noticed, and wanted to help boost their stamina.

Now it was time for the games but Hinata went on the opposite side of Kageyama, which disappointed him. Hinata's intentions were to see if he can do some sort of special move with Suga, incase Kageyama were to be put on the bench.

Suga knew his intentions clearly when he saw him go to his team, Suga explained a quick that possible for both of them. It was a success, earning the team a point and Hinata a bunch of compliments. Although, Kageyama was jealous he couldn't have done that for him.

3 sets later, Suga's team won. (Set 1: Suga-24 Kags-26, Set 2: S-27 K-25, Set 3: S-28 K-26) Everyone was really tired and decided to take a break. On the break, Hinata was high-fiving everyone, congratulating everyone with a smile. Simply, putting everyone in a good mood.

A/n: OH GOSH GUYS! MY DAD SAW ME WRITING THIS AND THOUGHT I WAS READING SOMETHING BUT I TOLD HIM I WAAS WRITING A STORY AND JUST GOT SOOO NEVEROUS TELLING HIM WHAT I WAS WRITING ABOUT!
