Chapter 37 - All About Him..🧡

"Being polysexual is hard." His last thought of the night before falling into slumber.

Day 9
The next morning went by quickly, everyone rushed through breakfast and sped off to the games, excited with who they'll play against. Especially Fukurodani and Aoba Johsai. "Yosh! Our first game with the cutie, let's go!"
"calm down, Bokuto-san, save that energy for the game." On the court, Karasuno was warming up, Fukurodani watched them closely and strategized while their captain/ace watched his favorite spiker.

Hinata caught his gaze, smiling before going back to stretching, Bokuto blushed at the sight and melted. "Bokuto-san?" his bestfriend, Akaashi Keiji, looked down and saw the puddle. "He's adorable," he whispered to himself, it was their turn to warm up and majority of Karasuno decided to chat while a few-namely Daichi, Sugawara, Hinata, Ennoshita and Ukai-observed them. The whistle blew minutes later and they got in their positions.

Daichi, Hinata and Tanaka upfront. Asahi, Yamaguchi and Sugawara behind.

"Karasuno tails, Fukurodani heads." It landed on heads, deciding on to receive, Sugawara served to start. It gracefully went over the net, the far left bumping it up for an attack, Akaashi and Bokuto were a fast duo. Hinata barely got it, Sugawara somehow set to Daichi but were blocked by the duo. Daichi, Sugawara, Hinata, Ennoshita and Ukai expected this, they looked over the team so they got the message. They all nodded, now ready for them. Bokuto grinned, loving how they reacted to his dynamic.

"Agashee!" He was set the ball, slamming it through Daichi's hands, gritting his teeth in pain. Yamaguchi reacted quickly and bumped it up, Hinata slammed it down, a waterfall motion against the blocker. "Good work, Sho!" Ukai shouted over to him, making Hinata blush in embarrassment and laughing slightly. The ones closest to the net heard him, a tint of pink on their cheeks as Karasuno rotated.

Tanaka served over to the far right, they were going to secure this point, it was brought over again. Yamaguchi bumped it up, Kageyama making a set for Asahi, Fukurodani didn't block but they received it quick. Bokuto was given another hit, only to be stopped by an irritated Daichi, captain against captain. Bokuto had a playful smirk, he lightly tapped the ball, a successful feint.

They all went for it, gritting their teeth in anger, all but one. Hinata sent a deadly glare at Bokuto, scaring everyone on the court. Karasuno knew not to mess with Hinata when he's pissed, that goes for everyone but Hinata was a different case. He looked over the score, 4-2, his face grew darker as Fukurodani rotated. Bokuto's hair somehow stood higher, he felt his soul trying to leave his body but he resisted as he's still got a full game ahead.

Time passed, Hinata stayed silent out of court, Fukurodani had 13 and Karasuno were 2 points behind. Luckily, Tsukishima and Kageyama were infront with Yamaguchi and Ennoshita, Noya and Asahi in the back. On top of that, it was their serve. Asahi served to the far right, another attack was set but Tsukishima and Kageyama blocked it. Asahi served again, this time the spiker did a feint but was easily caught by Nishinoya, Kageyama set it to Yamaguchi who softly hit it.

They were tied, Fukurodani had other plans, Asahi went for another serve but this time they bumped it back. Karasuno went for it, but were blocked. Kageyama cursed under his breath, they weren't going to let them have that ball for long, neither were Fukurodani. They had a back and forth with the serves, 17 and a newly gained 15. Kageyama put all his force in the serve, almost breaking someone's arm.

It was passed back, Kageyama went to set it to Tsukishima but sensed Hinata's aura. "He wants it," he sure as hell did, Kageyama set it over to Hinata and Bokuto went to block but was met with piercing brown eyes. Next thing you know, a ball scrapes his hair and loudly thuds on the ground. Bokuto fell onto his butt with a groan, he looked up at the eyes again, his soul finally leaving his body. Hinata shakily inhaled an exhaled before his face was relaxed, everyone was frozen in place.

Bokuto was fortunate that it didn't smack him in the face, or else it would've bled from the impact. "Note to self, don't irritate Hinata when he has anything in his hands," Ennoshita whispered to himself, the rest of the game went by quickly, as Fukurodani were cautious with Hinata and took off their attention from the others. Karasuno won with 23 and Fukurodani with 19.

Fukurodani switched with Aoba Johsai, they hadn't seen the match as they were playing themselves and were excited to play against Karasuno to see their new fancy moves they've got.

They tied, how exhausting. The games took longer than they thought and was time for lunch, the teams sped to the cafeteria and sitting on tables filled with mixed teams. They were all talking about their games or the captivating chibi spiker. Majority being about Hinata as he looks like a heavenly angel in any situation, even after an energy-filled game of volleyball. In some way, Asahi, Kenma and Hinata found themselves their own table to eat at.

Hinata laid his sleeping head on Kenma's shoulder, who was playing a game on his phone, with Asahi holding his left hand while listening to the loud chatter in the lunch room. He squeezed Hinata's hand tighter as he heard words about his beloved, he looked over to Kenma who also had a visible irk mark on his head. Kenma continued to play with one hand and the other held Hinata closer.

Hinata continued to sleep despite all the noise, he could tune out the world when he's desparate for a nap but sometimes it's hard to do. "Shoyo, wake up," Hinata opened his eyes to an almost empty cafeteria, he rubbed his eyes and looked over to Kenma. "Kenken?" he groggily said, Kenma smiled, "have a good nap?" Hinata nods and get up, stretching his arms, Asahi and Kenma chuckle and go to Karasuno's room together.

They see Oikawa talking with Sugawara, they both see a drowsy Hinata being carried by Asahi. He looks like a little baby in his arms. Sugawara and Oikawa contain their squeals just barely from the sight, Kenma rolls his eyes and sits with Asahi, now Hinata's head on his shoulder and Kenma held his hand. Oikawa and Sugawara fawn in the corner, taking silent pictures, although grumpy they weren't the ones cuddling.

Suddenly, Oikawa had an idea but didn't bother to share with Sugawara, he looked over to the 3. "Perfect, they're all asleep," Sugawara puts his arm on Oikawa's shoulder, "if you even dare of doing anything wrong with Hinata, there will be a funeral," Oikawa felt a shiver up his spine and nodded. Sugawara let him be and continued reading, Oikawa sneakily got up and slowly grabbed Hinata out of their arms. They woke up and started to get up, Oikawa ran off and Sugawara held them back from killing his friend because that was his job.

He knows Oikawa will be respectful, if not, he's going to taste the fury of everyone.
