"Diamond?"
"Hm?"
He leaned in and pressed a kiss to my lips, "I love you."
With a smile, I kissed him back, "I love you."
"Tallia."
Someone put their hand on my shoulder and turned me around. Looking at their face under the hood of their jacket, my...
"Krystal," he greeted and helped me in the SUV. Zach came to pick me up too and was sitting opposite of where I was. Kris came in and sat next to me before Sam hopped in and took a seat next to Zach.
"Drive," Kris ordered as he closed the door. Dylan started the engine and we were off.
Zach and I shared a glance and he nudged his head very slightly towards Kris.
"What do you want to ask?" Kris said without looking up from his phone. I glanced at Zach again before clearing my throat, "Kris?"
"Hmm?"
I put on my best smile, "Can Zach and I go out tonight?"
"Sure."
"I know what you're going to say. I know it's not safe currently but," I ranted until the word processed in my brain, "What?"
"Sure."
I squinted my eyes at Kris, "No disagree or anything?"
He chuckled before looking up from his phone to smile at me, "You're 20, not 12. You can take care of yourself."
"So you're saying I can go."
"Mm hmm."
I blinked a few times, his words going through my head before I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. He laughed before hugging me back.
"Thank you, Kris."
"For what?"
"Trusting me enough."

I combed my hair until it's smooth as silk, leaving it in its natural state. I took out my makeup bag from a drawer and dumped everything out onto the counter.
Taking my primer, I squeezed it on the back of my hand and warmed it up a little before dabbing it on my face. I rubbed it in and took my foundation. I dabbed it on and blended it out nicely.
Using concealer, I covered up my dark circles and the little scars I got over the years. I then applied a light layer of setting powder before using the light bronzer and highlighter on my cheekbones.
I looked in the mirror and saw my colorless face. Taking a very light blush, I brushed it on my face and blended it.
Staring at my eyeshadow palettes, I decided to go for a natural look and closed the lids. I took my eyeliner and applied a thin line. I grabbed the brown mascara and lightly coated my lashes.
My brows were naturally nice so I just went to the last thing, my lips. I took a light pink, almost nude, lipstick and swiped it on my lips before sealing it with a lipstick sealer.
I kept my makeup bag, taking mascara and lipstick just in case I needed to reapply, and shoved it in my cross-body purse. I put my keys, wallet, and phone in and checked my makeup once more.
Deeming myself ready, I fluffed up my hair a little and exited the bathroom. I checked my outfit again at my full-length mirror, making sure there were no wardrobe malfunctions.
I was wearing a flowy black knee-length dress with a V-neck, paired with black heels. I wore clip-on dangling diamond earrings because ya girl didn't feel like wearing normal ones. I wore a choker with a diamond hanging in the middle too.
Smiling, I took my princess coat from the coat rack and headed down to the foyer. Zach was waiting for me there with my gun and a smile on his face. He wore a dark blue button-up rolled up to his elbows with black jeans and a pair of loafers.
I reached him and he leaned down to kiss the top of my head, "You look gorgeous, Diamond."
"Thank you, you look handsome," I complimented as I took the gun in his hand and slid it into my purse.
He wrapped an arm around my waist and I turned my head to call out, "We're heading out!"
I saw the back of one of the twins' heads move from the couch and Kris came into view. He kissed my head and smoothed out my hair, "Stay safe, you two. I love you, Krystal."
"I love you too."
We waved and walked out the door. Zach opened the door for me and I glanced at him as I got in, "So chivalrous."
"Only the best for milady," he said and pecked my lips briefly before closing the door and walking around the car, getting in the driver's seat. We put on our seatbelts and he put the keys in the ignition, the engine roaring.
He drove out of the driveway and rested one forearm on the console. On instinct, I laid mine next to him and slid my hand in his. His thumb drew soft circles around my knuckles as I asked, "You still haven't told me where we're going."
He laughed lightly, "I'm chivalrous. It's a surprise."
I rolled my eyes, "It'll make no difference if you tell me."
"Just be patient, babe."
I pouted, "At least tell us how far it is?"
He glanced at me, seeing my bottom lip jutted out, and sighed, "Fine, it's fifteen minutes away."
I pulled out my phone and typed in 'restaurants fifteen minutes from me'.
"Are you serious?" he scolded playfully and I shrugged, "I'm anxious to know. You know that."
"Fifteen minutes isn't far, Diamond. Just wait," he added a little laugh at the end. At a stoplight, I leaned over and pecked his cheek, "I'll just pester you if you don't tell me, this is better."
He grabbed my chin and kissed my lips, "You have me whipped so badly. I love you."
"I love you back."
