Chapter Thirty-Eight - Dearest Daughter

Wednesday, 16th December 2020

KRYSTALLIA

All of us sat in a family meeting room. There was a table in front of a bookcase and chairs spread out around the room. Kris and I sat on the armchairs on the left side of the room, a few feet away from the table. KT and Zach stood behind us, leaning against the chairs.

Uncle Jason and Aunt Rose sat on the armchairs on the right with Blake standing behind them. Sam and his father sat on a couch behind Kris and I while Mark and his parents sat on the other couch.

Denny the lieutenant general, Kelly, dad's distant cousin, and her husband sat there on the middle couch.

"Is everyone present?" Uncle Elliot asked, looking at Kris. He nodded and Uncle Elliot continued, "Well then, I'm Elliot Collins, the personal representative for James Estrada, may he rest in peace."

I looked down at the mention of my dad and Zach squeezed my shoulder softly, "I'm right here, my love."

Nodding softly, I rested my head against the back of the chair and continued to listen.

He read the first few statements that weren't really important. I actually wasn't really listening until they got to the will.

"Now for the will," he announced and everyone sat up straighter.

Technically, because he never showed a will, all of our assets were still under his name. So now we can legally get it.

"My company Estrada Agency Holdings, I give to my second-born son, Kristian Estrada."

KT blinked, slightly shocked.

"My gang Crystal Undead, I give to my first-born son, Kristopher Estrada."

Kris tapped his finger on his lap.

"All my assets outside of the United States, I give to my brother and his spouse, Jason and Rose Estrada, and their son, Blake Estrada."

The couple looked at each other in shock.

"Ten percent of my money, I donate to the charity of Krystallia Estrada's choice."

I kinda expected he'd do that.

"Ten percent of my money, I leave to my best friend, Richard Philips, and his son Samuel Philips."

Sam and Richard looked at me and I shrugged.

"Ten percent of my money, I leave to my close friend, Bryan Sanders, his spouse, Martha Sanders, and their son, Mark Sanders."

Martha gasped softly as Bryan and Mark shared a glance.

"Five percent of my money, I leave to my close friend, Denny Stewart."

His eyes widened a fraction.

"Five percent of my money, I leave to my cousin, Kelly Rayson, and her husband, Tanner Rayson."

They looked at each other as Tanner held his wife close to him.

"Ten percent of the money, I leave to my brother and his spouse, Jason and Rose Estrada, and their son, Blake Estrada."

They turned around to look at Blake and he shrugged.

"Ten percent of the money, I leave to my first-born son, Kristopher Estrada."

He reached over and squeezed my hand softly.

"Ten percent of the money, I leave to my second-born son, Kristian Estrada."
