Chapter Twenty-Three - I'm Sorry, Princess

KRYSTALLIA

"I have to head out. Be good, kitty."

I nodded and waved, "Bye."

Kris waved before leaving with Mark, Joseph, and Dylan. I closed the door and twirled the keys around my fingers as I walked into the living room.

It was still a mess from Sunday's events but it's looking better now. The only part that hasn't been cleaned up was the bullet holes in the walls but we decided to leave it. It didn't bother anyone anyway.

I hung the keys up on a wooden rack and laid on the couch, pulling my computer on my lap.

A few days ago, I researched everything I could on the logo we saw and compiled it together. So, what we found out was that it was a union of some sort. Four gangs in one.

Vexion.

Thunder Skull.

Prized Orion.

Withered Ghost.

All four had become our enemies in unique ways. If we wanted to win this war, we would need a miracle.

I got to work, getting more information, and connected them with the help of my AI.

"Diamond?"

I looked up from my laptop to see Zach coming into the living room. He came around and lifted my upper body, taking the seat. He then laid me on his lap and started combing my hair with his fingers.

"What're you working on?"

"What connects them together," I said, my eyes never leaving the screen. He gently laid a kiss on my head, "Did you find anything?"

I sighed defeated, "Not for now."

He stroked my cheekbone with the pad of his thumb gently, giving me a soft smile, "Don't worry, you'll find it."

I returned the smile and he leaned down to kiss me.

"I love you," he said against my lips and I pecked him one more time, "I love you."

We stayed there, him playing with my hair and taking notes while I go through every possible way to find out more about the joined gangs.

"Kryssie!" I heard KT shout from the stairs as he ran down. I sat up and raised an eyebrow, "What?"

He leaned his body against the back of the couch as he handed me an e-file in the shape of a tablet, regaining his breath. I saw the screen and blinked.

PRIZED ORION

"I thought we didn't have this," I muttered, swiping the file open.

"I got it out of the archives. Apparently, James had done a check onthem but never found a reason to keep them in storage for easy access," hesaid, looking at the screen of my laptop. I looked at the first page of thefile.
