Chapter Twenty-One - Grim Reaper

Sunday, 15th November 2020

KRYSTALLIA

The bars closed behind me as I noted, "Hayden Parker."

I looked at KT and he nodded, pulling out his phone and walking away. Zach wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "Why'd you want to know the bully's name?"

I kissed his cheek, "You'll know soon."

He raised an eyebrow, smirking, "Huh."

I walked out of his hold and towards where Landon was standing. Zach followed behind me as I stopped in front of a cell.

"He's all yours, Krystal," Landon said, gesturing for the guard to unlock the cell. I nodded and walked in, the cell closing behind me.

With my knife, I used it to scrape the wall to gauge the reaction of the boy in front of me. When he showed no movement at all, I pulled my knife back and stayed completely silent for a few seconds.

Without hesitation, I stabbed the knife on the wooden table in the room and he jumped slightly from the sound.

"So you're not that inhumane," I commented, leaving my knife where it was and walking to the boy.

"Julian Peters?" I asked, standing next to him and he had the gut to scoff, "Who's asking?"

"The fucking Grim Reaper- who do you think?" I snapped back and he shuddered, "What do you want?"

"Oh, nothing," I drawled out before saying next to his ear, "Just your death."

He sucked in a breath and I laughed, "Jeez, I'm kidding."

A few moments later, I added, "Kind of."

I pulled out my gun and placed it on the table, "Anyway, I need to know something. But first..."

I crouched down in front of him, "Did you bully someone into joining a gang? Are you serious?"

He looked straight into my eyes, "How'd you know?"

"You just said it."

He looked back down, "It was his choice, I didn't do anything."

"Yeah, 'peer pressure' is nothing," I said, sighing, "Listen, bullying isn't okay, and letting a woman cheat on her boyfriend with you is even more of a no-no."

"Why do you care, boomer?"

I rubbed my temple, "Dude, I'm barely older than you."

"Don't lecture me," he had the audacity to say that. Alright, this fucker asked for it. I grabbed his hair and made him look at me in my eyes.

"Listen here, you little brat. You know nothing about the world you jumped into so don't go acting like you own the place. All you know is how to be a fuckwad who thinks they're so cool just because they're in a gang. You haven't seen anything the underworld offers, so don't be fucking with people who won't give mercy when handed the chance to kill you. Understood?"

He stayed quiet and I took my gun from the table, holding it in front of his eyes, "Am I understood?"

"Y-Yes..."

I threw his head down and placed my gun back on the table.

"Now be cooperative and I may not kill you."

I dusted my hands, "Okay, I just need to know one thing."

He nodded and I continued, "Where's the base?"

"W-What? Base?"

"Oh, god- see! This is why idiots joining a gang is a bad idea," I looked at the people outside as I gestured to the boy next to me and they snickered.

Laugh some more. I'm frustrated as it is.

I rubbed my temples, "The base where you gather and discuss how plans will go. Usually, the valuables and stock of the gang are stored there. Ring a bell?"

"Um...Hanholm Woods."

I sighed, "A blind person could tell you're lying, let alone a gang leader. Tell me the truth, or I'll let Brandon Watson do the honors of killing you."

He shivered and blurted out, "The forest behind Angel Land Amusement Park."

I looked out into the hallway to see them shrugging. I clicked my tongue before walking towards the table.

"Thank you, you've been very cooperative," I said, picking up the gun.

"But now," I slowly walked towards him, "I want you to learn a very valuable lesson."

I crouched down, lifting his head by his hair, and aimed the gun at his head. He sucked in a sharp breath and pleaded, "Please, please let me go, I won't bother him anymore. I won't bully anyone and I won't make anyone cheat on anyone anymore. Please just let me live."

I smirked and pulled the trigger.

Nothing happened, alright? Calm down.

His eyes were shut tight and I laughed, pressing the muzzle against his cheek, "The safety's on, it's a gun of dummy rounds."

He hesitantly opened one eye before sighing in relief. I smirked and dropped his head, getting up. I aimed the gun at the wall behind him just as I flipped the safety off. It fired and he jumped from the sudden loud noise.

I stuck the gun back in my holster before pulling the knife out of the table and keeping it away. I walked out and into Zach's arms as he held me close. I felt him peck my forehead softly, "I love you."

I smiled and pecked his bottom lip, "I love you."

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait," Sam suddenly said and we looked at him. I raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"Where did he say the base was?"

"Angel Land Amusement Park?" I said, glancing at Zach.

"Isn't that the same one where we found the limbs?"

.

Oh.

My.

God.

"How did it take an idiot to remember that?"

"Hey!" he exclaimed, lightly punching my shoulder and I brushed his hand off.

"Wait, shut up," I said, my mind running around trying to think of something to link them up.

And then it hit me.

Ah-ha.
