KRISTIAN
Fourteen years.
That's how long he left us.
Fourteen years.
I can't believe him.
Kris (or Landon) had come in last night, telling me what our sister saw on a walk and I almost fainted.
Speaking of our sister, I have to go check up on our little princess. I walked out of my room and down the steps, towards the dining room. I saw a maid cleaning up something from Kris' usual seat and looked at him.
He just shrugged and Kryssie noticed, turning around to see me.
"KT," she sighed in relief and came, wrapping her arms around my neck. I hugged her back and kissed her hair, "You okay, sis?"
She pulled away, nodding, "Yeah."
"KT, I need to talk to you," Kris, or actually Landon by the tone, said and I nodded. I kissed Kryssie on her forehead before walking away to the foyer with Landon.
"What is it?" I asked in a calm voice. He tossed his phone to me and I caught it, looking at the screen.
Unknown Number
Let me see her.I gave the phone back and bit my lip.
"That's..."
"Him," Landon confirmed and continued, "Kris has a feeling he's E.A. but I don't believe it."
I looked at him, "What're we gonna do?"
"We don't let him see her, that's what."
I looked down, thinking. He doesn't deserve to see us, especially Kryssie. He abandoned us, he made us think he was dead for fourteen years.
What kind of father does that to his children?
"KT?"
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Landon, "Hm?"
"I was thinking about moving."
"Moving? What about Kryssie?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He rubbed his temple, "He'll know we're here sooner or later. We'll go off the grid for a bit in England with Blake, hide Krystal, and make sure he never finds us."
"Why go to these extremes?"
"I'd do anything for Krystal to never be heartbroken again," he said and turned back towards the arched hallway.
"But Landon," I called and he stopped in his tracks. I continued, "You know she'd rather face him than move away."
He gave him a glance over his shoulder, "It's for her own good."

I paced around my closet with the holopad in the center. It's been a few hours since Landon told me about moving and I've been going mad.
On one side, I agreed with him. Moving will help us hide from him for a bit.
But on the other side, I was worried for Kryssie. We never take her out of the country for over a week so I don't know how she'll do with moving. She'd much rather find that man than leave here.
I looked at the holopad and swiped everything away, leaving a clean screen. Biting my lip, I made a rash decision.
I tapped the 'search' button and typed in 'EA'. The results showed up and I skimmed through.
