Almost everyone has a comfort person. Someone they can go to when they feel upset. Someone to hold them and tell them that it's going to be alright. Someone who is their sun and moon. Almost everyone.

Not you. Everyone around you is always busy and has their own problems. Even B/f/n. She didn't want you to be alone, though. She always reminded you that she was there for you.

However, despite B/f/n's constant reassurance, you could help but feel like a burden. She always tried to be there for you but you always shrugged her off saying how amazing you were doing and how happy you were.

Despite knowing this, you stay positive and happy even though sometimes you just wish you had someone to cuddle you at the end of the day. Someone to hold you and kiss your scars and make all your little worried fade away.

It was now two years later and you are sitting on the couch waiting for you boyfriend to come home.
B/f/n managed to set you up a while back and next month, you'd be celebrating your year-one anniversary.

It was long before you heard the familiar jingle of keys outside your apartment door. You jumped up and rushed to the door just as it opened, ready to greet your lover.

C/n stopped on the doormat lightly, attempting to shake the snow of his body before stepping foot into the apartment.

"How was work?" You asked, headed to the kitchen to start making warm beverages (hot chocolate or coffee).

"Tiring." He muttered coming up behind you and engulfing you in a hug. "How was school?"

"Boring." You answered. You college courses weren't very fun but you had to take them in order to be qualified for d/j (your dream job).

After chatting lightly and finishing your (coffee/hot cocoa), you both walked to your shared bedroom. Climbing into bed, you cuddled as close to each other as possible before falling into a dreamless sleep.

Before you were fully unconscious, however, a smile crept onto your face. You had finally found your comfort person... and he was holding you in his arms happily, safe from the cold winds and harsh snow falls outside.
