I got this idea from somewhere else but I really like it. This one might be short.

You were going to have a movie night with your three best friends, C/n, B/f/n, and C/f/n.

"Okay, so what do y'all wanna watch?" You asked, sitting down on the couch next to C/n.

"The Lion King!!" B/f/n shouted speedily. She had a mischievous look in her eyes but you all shrugged it off, because when does B/f/n not have a mischievous glint in her eyes? Never, unless it's super serious.

The Lion King played through mostly and as the end started to near, B/f/n and C/f/n started shuffling and moving around.

"Are you guys good?" You asked, brows raised.

"Yes," B/f/n replied.

"Perfect," C/f/n muttered after B/f/n nudged him roughly in the gut.

Then it got to the part where the monkey hit Simba on the head with his stick. "Ouch, What was that for?" Simba glared. The monkey shrugged. "It's in the past."
(A/n ~ I am so sorry, I forgot the monkey's name.)

"I love you." C/n stated. You turned to look at him, your eyes wide and jaw dropped.

"What?" You breathed. C/n shrugged.

"It's in the past." You scoffed at him. Two can play that game. You quickly pecked the corner of his mouth, teasing him so it would be more amusing. C/n blushed and gulped.

"What was that?" He whispered.

"It's in the past." You tried to keep a straight face but ended up smirking.

"You sly little fox." He muttered. B/f/n was grinning triumphantly.

Yes it was a sweet little moment but you didn't get together after that. Instead you and C/n played a game of cat and mouse, constantly teasing each other. However, if someone were to ask either of you out, you'd say something along the lies of, "Sorry, I'm kind of seeing someone right now."

Even though you weren't dating, you knew you belonged to each other. Maybe someday you'd get together but for right now the both of you were comfortable and happy with the way things were.
