Hey! This is my first story I've written; not counting the two I've deleted haha. This story is based during 1962 and obviously it is about Benny Rodriguez. He is 14 in this story and Isabella is 14 also. Sometimes the clothes will not be even related to what they wore back then but it's hard to find pictures of their clothes. I literally get some of the shirts off of shein so please bear with me because occasionally Isabella wears stuff that you wouldn't think she would so her style is all over the place.
I know that Jordan has short hair and looks younger in the movie but in this book I pictured him sort of older and with longer hair(picture below) y'all can imagine him however you want but that is just for reference.

I don't necessarily want Isabella to look like a certain person so y'all can imagine her however you want because I know some readers like to imagine what the person looks like.
This has some religion in it but it's not to the point that it talks about it. All it mentions is how the step dad is very religious and some chapters are when they go to church which is every Sunday but I sort of skip around so not every like 3 chapters talk about it. Please respect the point that I have religion in the book, if it offends anyone I am sorry!
There are some scenes where in the movie they were maybe after another scene but in this book they might be before one.(that makes no sense) for instance, I made the scene "you play ball like a girl" before the Fourth of July when in the movie the Fourth of July is before that.
