Chapter Twenty Eight

Naira's POV

" It's a long story" Kartik said sheepishly

" You conned me into thinking you were dead for eleven months, I have time." I said glaring at him

" Well not dead exactly" Kartik said again but he stopped

" It was like that for me, I wanted to meet you, I wanted see you walking, but no news came, what do you want me to think huh?" I said breaking down a little bit, it's not easy to be angry with him, I was happy to see him out of his coma but angry at the same time, that he didn't tell me.

He came towards me and hugged me, while I sobbed.

" Calm down Naira, I'll explain everything" Kartik said as he rubbed my back

" I missed you so much" I said between the sobs, I hate crying in front of anyone, but Kartik is an exception.

Kartik pulled me out of the hug and then lightly lifted my face so now he's looking directly at me closely.

" Do you love me so much?"  He said smirking

"No, never, nada, in your dreams" I said making a face and creating some distance between us

" Oh! You hurt me" He said fake gasping and putting his palm on his heart. Drama Queen.

" Stop being a drama queen and kiss me" I said as I pulled him towards me

" You've became bolder" Kartik smiled as his lips touched mine.

" AHM AHM" someone interrupted us

We both looked at the person that interrupted us

" As you have two reconciled, we have more serious issues to look into and for the record I didn't see anything" Lucas said while covering his eyes

" Why don't you rest a little bit, I'll see you later" Kartik said as he pecked my lips again and went with Lucas.

Kartik's POV

I went with Lucas to my office, David was already waiting for me there.

" You're back from the dead" I said as soon as I saw him

" Not in the dramatic way as you" David commented back

I chukled and took my seat on the other side of the table as they sat in front of me.

" Why didn't you tell me that you were alive?" David asked worriedly

" Because of the mole, I thought that if I hide the mole will be reckless and we'll catch him easily but it didn't work" I said rubbing my temples

" It's the same one that leaked our software a few months ago rt  ?" David said trying to understand the situation

" Ya it's the same one, Keep up David!!"  Lucas said

" What's wrong with you?" David glared at Lucas

" It's not him, it's Tyler, after he came out from the coma, he's acting different, whenever he tries to work on the computer or even try to work, he just gives up, he said that he can't concentrate" I informed David

" Did u ask the doctor, maybe during the coma, something happened with him, you know brain injury" David said the most obvious thing

" We did, the doctor said that he checked everything, he's fit and fine" Lucas said worriedly, Lucas is Tyler's cousin, it's obvious that he's worried for his brother, they maybe not related by blood but still.

" What about Xavier?" David asked

" What about him?" Lucas asked confused

" David you said that you'll take care of him, and I think you should have a talk with Naira about him, he's a danger to her" I said, I have nothing to do with him until Naira wants me to, she already said that she wants to be protected, and that she'll kill him herself.

" And moreover you both have the same goals" I said looking serious, while David smirked, " that we do" he said

Suddenly the door opened and came in Naira while dragging a very unwilling Tyler behind her

" I think I know what's wrong with him" Naira said looking determined

A Short Summary:

Naira have some mysterious powers, she was adopted by the Valentino family, but one day she killed her adoptive mother with her powers, Xavier her brother found out about this and blackmailed her into helping him to do the mafia work with the help of her powers. But after sometime Xavier became too greedy, he asked Naira to kill their father, to which Naira denied, so Xavier killed his father and tortured Naira for not following his orders, he started experimenting drugs on Naira because she was different. So during one attack on Xavier's mafia base, Kartik men also kidnapped Naira because she was a Valentino. But when Kartik found out about what was actually happening with her, he helped her and decided to protect her from Xavier.

David Kartik's cousin also have a grudge against the Valentino's as Xavier have helped David's father in killing his mother which deeply hurt him, he lost all hope and left his so called family and started working on his own i.e. assassin, but when he heard the rumor that his mother is alive, he decided to take his long due revenge on Xavier. David's father was a very cunning man, he died during an accident, no politics involved.
David first wanted to kill Naira as she's a Valentino, but after confrontation, he loves her like a sister.

Kartik's dad was abusive, Kartik was beaten since his childhood, but Kartik somehow endured all this and became the most dangerous mafia ever seen or heard. His father was killed, he didn't care to investigate into that matter as he has no emotions for his father but David has told him repeatedly that it involves Xavier and David's dad.

Tyler is an orphan he was adopted by a family but they were killed due to some mafia reasons, that family was related with Lucas's family which made them cousins, Lucas's family took care of him but they are not so fond of him.

Previously on "His Angel" , Kartik, David, Tyler and Naira went to some nearby city for some deal. Only Kartik and Tyler have to go but Kartik dragged David and Naira with him so that they can reconcile, which they did. According to Kartik the person which they were going to sign a deal with is a very difficult one, so as happens in mafia, Tyler hacked into their system to blackmail them into signing it, it's a special software made by Tyler, but somehow the opposite party removed Tyler's software from their system which was impossible leading to the possibility of a mole in their mafia.

Next day there was a simple party thrown by the very same person Kartik tried to sign a deal with. They went to the party, Kartik and David were called upstairs, where they were threatened as Naira and Tyler were unprotected downstairs. So someone shooted Tyler, he was taken to the hospital by Naira, Kartik was kidnapped, but somehow David found him, Kartik and Tyler both went into coma. Lucas sent Naira to Italy so they can handle important things.

So after eleven months when they came back they found Kartik out of the coma and rest you know.

I want you to read last five chapters at least again, it will clear your confusion, I tried to summarize the main points of the story, hope it helps. Please read it again. I'm sorry, because many pervious loose ends are going to be covered now.
