Chapter Twenty Six

Here's the next chapter!!

We reached the mansion, I don't know but I was feeling very nervous, maybe I'm just not ready to face them, I've been a disappointment to them, I can't even help them and moreover I'm just a burden to them, keeping me safe from Xavier.

" Naira you coming or what?" David said as he opened the Car door of my side

" Ya sure" I said immediately and got out of the car.

We are here unannounced, David wanted to surprise them or something like that, but why am I getting an uneasy feeling. The guards were surprised to see David here and immediately let us in, we walking in the pathway which will lead to the inside of the mansion, but suddenly I heard a crying voice, someone was shouting, that voice was familiar.

Even David looked confused, we both headed towards source of the sound, which eventually led us to the greenhouse. When I went inside I saw a girl about my age wearing formal office dress getting scolded by Megan, this was unlike Megan, she has such a sweet nature, and what happened next shocked me, Megan slapped the girl. Suddenly David walked past me  and stood between Megan and the girl.

I followed him there, " Naira?" Megan was shocked

" Why are you so shocked?" I asked her

" No, no, it's just that you came unannounced and what??!!!" Megan said as she looked at David

" He's Fu!ing alive?!?!" Megan shouted as she pointed at David

" Ya I am, and care to tell why did you slap her" David said in a stern tone which he never uses, not with us.

" Why do you care, she works in my office, she messed up something really bad, so I was just scolding her, everyone does right?" Megan explained

" By slapping her??" I asked her, not believing what she did

" I know that was a bit extreme, and I'm really sorry for that" Megan said looking down, her voice sounding guilty

" It's fine" the girl said and went out immediately before any of us can say anything.

" I am really sorry, it's just that everything is so messed up....and now it is going to be more messed up" Megan whispered the last part but David and me both heard it

" We'll talk about it later, let's go inside" I said , because I don't want a fight between Lucas and David.

They nodded and followed me inside, I saw Tyler sitting on the couch watching TV which was on full volume in casual clothes, which is unlike him, he shifted his gaze from the TV towards us.

" ISN'T THE TV TOO LOUD??!!!" I shouted covering my ears.

His jaw dropped when he saw us, he immediately closed the TV and hugged David and then me.

" I still can't believe it, you're real" he said touching David

" I am" David snickered

" I knew it, nobody can kill the best assassin of the world" Tyler said and then shouted for Lucas

Tyler and David have a very sweet relationship, that I can say. I heard footsteps coming from upstairs, and two voices which were kind of whispering to eachother. I noticed Tyler looking at me intently, so I raised my eyebrows to ask what was wrong but he just shook his head.

Two people descended the stairs.

" I'm so gonna kill him" I whisper shouted while glaring

" I'll help you" David joined me.
