Chapter Six

Hey guys, long time no see!!

Kartik's POV

The doctors have given up on Lucas, until I told him about this small blood transfusion, they looked at me as if I've lost my mind or what, but they didn't dare to speak against my orders, the perks of being a mafia.

I was waiting outside with Tyler, he had his face covered by his hands as if trying to hide his sadness from the world, but we all know how much he cares for Lucas. Lucas is Tyler's cousin and he's the only family left to Tyler, Lucas's parents don't consider Tyler as family which makes my blood boil but I can't do anything about it, not right now.

" Hey, he'll be alright" I said to Tyler by grabbing him from the shoulders

Tyler looked up at me with bloodshot eyes, he had been crying. I hugged him immediately, these two are like my brothers, they have stood beside me everytime and helped me to the position where I am today.

Suddenly the doctor came outside, her face was pale white as if she had saw a ghost or something, " what happened?" I asked

" Is Lucas alright?" Tyler asked in a worried tone.

" I have never seen anything like that, his heartbeat had stopped, but no sooner did we injected that little amount of blood, he came back to life" she said while looking at Lucas through the window.

" Ok, don't tell anyone about it" I said in a stern tone and then Tyler and me both went to his room.

He was still unconscious but the doctor assured that all the tests are normal and he would be awake in a few hours.
Tyler sat at a chair beside him and I left for some answers with our special guest.

I barged into her room, but she was not there.

Naira's POV

My wounds have mostly healed, so I decided to clean myself, I haven't had a bath since I was kidnapped. I found some clothes in the closet and took a shower and changed into them. The gash on my stomach is still paining when I put too much pressure on that side but rest of the scars and bruises are slowly fading.

When I came out, I saw Kartik sitting on the chair, Is he here to kill me?

" Is Lucas alright?" I asked

He looked up at me and kept staring at me, " umm....is everything alright?" I asked waving my hand

" Ya..ya Lucas is alright, thanks to you" he said with an attitude, who does he think he is?

" Great to hear" I said giving a straight smile and slowly walked towards the bed.

" Who are you?" He asked looking at me, as if he could look inside my soul and snatch the truth from there.

" I'm Naira, I told you, Xavier's adopted sister" I answered a bit awkwardly

" No, what are you?" He asked again

I looked at him with a mocking face, but he got up from his chair and walked towards me and I backed against the headboard.

" You know what am I asking about, how can a few drops of your blood bring Lucas back to life?" He asked staring at me.

" Aren't you happy, that he's back?" I asked trying to change the topic

" I am indeed very happy, but this doesn't give the answer to my question Ms.Naira" he said staring with his hazel eyes at me.

" And what if I refuse to tell anything" I said with a little bit of confident

" Then maybe I should contact Xavier, he may know how to get answers from you" he smirked

How can he even think about doing it,I told them he hurt me and made me a lab rat, but still and for the first time I got very angry, because I didn't expect these kind of words will come out from Kartik's mouth, I thought he was different but no, he's like everyone else only.

I got up from the bed and stared at him, but he kept smirking, this increased my anger, I can feel the energy flowing in my veins, and in the heat of moment, I raised my hand a little bit and the power flows out of my palm like magic, and hits Kartik, which made him fly away as if he was nothing, and he banged on the wall and fell on the floor.

I suddenly felt really weak, I should have not done that, I was still weak because of the wounds and drugs in my body, my vision became blurry and then darkness eventually consumed me.

I've been really busy, many reasons are there, one of them was college admission. I'm really sorry to keep you guys waiting.
