" So what are we going to do with him" David tapped the table as we looked at the unconscious Xavier
" Well if you haven't stopped me, I wouldn't have lost my focus and he would be dead by now" I replied tiredly
" I want to kill him, don't forget, we had a deal" David pointed the knife at me
" Fine . Fine" I raised my hands surrendering
We both came out of the cell and closed the door behind us
" Does others know you're here?" I asked him as we ascended the stairs
" No, remember I'm not the part of the mafia" he chuckled
" Ya ya, the single man army" I sang
" What are you going to do now?" He asked as we reached the front door
" This is my house, I'm gonna crash here for a few days " I said and sat on the couch
" Hey hey wait, tell me about your girl, you promised" I shouted as he was going out
" The less people know about her, the more she safe is" he smiled gently and left the mansion
I think, he really loved her, the way he is hiding the information about her, well I'll wait until all this mess clears up. No sooner I was going to take a nap, my phone rang and Kartik's name flashed on it, what the hell!!
" Hello" I said timidly
" Well if this isn't the murderer of my father" Kartik said in a cold tone
" See Kartik I can explain" I tried to make him understand
" Yes you will, you will explain each and everything to me Miss Naira Valentino" Kartik almost shouted at the phone
The way he usedy full name, it hurts, he knows how much I hate the Valentino name.
" You're silent now? " He darkly chukled
" What do you want me to say?" I said, my voice breaking
" Oh! So now you're crying" he laughed
" Well let's see if you're really guilty, meet me at the Ross Cafe in 30 minutes" he said
" Why the cafe?" I asked confused
" So I won't kill you immediately" he said and ended the call
Now he wants to kill me, great!
I sighed and picked up my car keys, and drove to the location.
