As I walk inside the building where my last class of the day is located, my mind fills with thoughts about Kyle.

I didn't get the chance to see if he was okay yesterday so I hope he shows up in class today.

I want to know what happened. Why was he involved into that fight? I'm worried about him. I mean he is my friend after all, right? Yes. He's my friend.

I take a seat in the back hoping that Kyle will sit next to me and wait for class to begin.

As the room fills with people I see him walking in. His lips are bruised and his cheek is a light purple color, probably from the punch that guy gave him.

We make eye contact and I smile as I wait for him to sit next to me. He gives me a cold look and then walks at the front row.

I don't understand. If he didn't want to sit with me that's okay, but why is he acting like this? Is he mad at me? Did I do something wrong?

Before I even realized, class was over. I couldn't focus. I was trying to understand why he was so cold with me.

He always has this playful smile on his face when he's around me but not today though. Maybe I'm overthinking this?

I have to talk to him. Before I can get out I hear the professor call my name. I walk to the desk and wait for her to speak.

"Miss Watson is there something bothering you? You weren't paying attention to my lesson today."- she says.

"I'm sorry it won't happen again"- I say apologetically. Damn Kyle for being in my mind, now I'm getting scolded.

"You're grades are great so if you want to keep them like that you'll have to pay attention in class next time"- she says with authority.

I nod knowing that she is right. She dismisses me and I walk out looking for Kyle. I still want to make sure that everything is okay.

I see Kyle walking towards his car so I ran after him. -"Kyle wait"- I say but he doesn't stop, he just walks faster.

"Can't you hear me?"- I ask. He completely ignores me. -"Kyle wait, I need to talk to you"- I say walking faster but he quickly stops and I bump onto his strong back.

He turns around, -"What do you want?"- he asks looking down at me, his eyes full of anger. -"Are you okay?"- I ask softly.

I'm so so confused right now. He's clearly mad at me and I don't know why. -"I'm fine"- he says looking away.

"What happened yesterday? Why did you fight that guy?"- I ask hoping that he will answer.

"That's none of your fucking business"- he shouts earning us weird looks from a few people in the parking lot. I look down feeling embarrassed.

How typical of him. I'm not surprised. He always acted like this from the day we met. I should have known better than to follow him here.

"What's wrong with you?"- I ask in disbelief. He's leaning against his car with both hands in his pockets. He shrugs.

A few seconds pass and I manage to speak again. -"Did I do something wrong?"- I ask in a low voice.

He laughs. -"I don't know Heaven, did you?"- he says sarcastically, his cold eyes pierced with mine.

I sigh. -"This conversation is going nowhere"- I say. -"Alright then leave me the fuck alone"- he responds.

He gets in his car and drives away leaving me standing in the middle of the parking lot.
