Chapter 24

My summer has been great so far. Mostly because I spend a lot of time with Kyle and that makes me happy. Today we decided to go to the cinema so I am now getting ready.

I decide on wearing a denim mini skirt that is white and has buttons in the front. I also wear a ditsy floral lace cami top that goes perfectly with the white skirt.

I let my hair down and do a light makeup up. I take my purse and head downstairs to wait for him. Kate went out with her boyfriend like an our ago.

As I sit there waiting for Kyle, I get a call from Ava. -"Hey boo! How are you?"- her voice beams through the phone. -"I'm good, how are you? How's your summer going?"- I ask.

"Great! What about yours?"- she says. -"Same but when are you coming back in town? I missed you"- I admit to her. -"In a few days and I missed you too. I have so many things that I need to tell you"- she says and I smile.

"Me too! I can't wait to see you"- I say. I really missed her. She's such a nice person and has been an amazing friend to me . -"Don't worry, I'll see you soon"- she speaks again and I nod forgetting that she can't see me.

We chat for a little, then eventually we end the call. A knock is heard on the door and I quickly open it. -"Hey beautiful"- Kyle says giving me his best smile.

"Hi handsome"- I say giving him the same energy back. It's not like I lied anyways. His smile becomes even bigger and he takes me into his embrace.

His cologne fills my nostrils making me feel at home. He always smells really good and I can't get enough of it. I love everything about him.

I slowly look up, my arms still wrapped around him and his still around me as he places a soft kiss on my lips.

I smile and he takes my hand leading me out of the house and into his car. His car engine starts with a roar and he drives us to the movies.

"Thank you"- I say to the lady behind the counter when she hands us our tickets. We buy popcorn and drinks and we take two seats in the back. I never liked the front seats even when I was a child.

We're watching a horror movie and I'm really excited. I always enjoyed horror movies but I never watched them alone. It's not that I'm terrified but I'll admit, sometimes I do get scared.

Kyle's POV

"Here"- I say handing her the popcorn as the movie begins. As we watch the movie, she finches lightly sometimes when there's a jump scare or makes a disgusted grimace whenever she sees too much blood.

I take a good look at her. Her posture. The way her knees are lightly touching each other and the way she does a little tapping with her foot.

The way her eyes stay focused on the big screen as she takes a sip from her drink. She's adorable and so small. Even her boobs are cute.

Her outfit suits her so much. She has a great style too. I noticed that the day I met her. Her beautiful long curls spilled on her back like a waterfall. She's glowing even tho the lights are off.

I try to turn my attention to the movie again but I'm drawn by her. She turns to look at me and I quickly turn away. Fuck.

With the side of my eye I spot a small smile plastered on her lips. She's probably amused that she caught me staring but I don't mind.

I find this as a great opportunity to tease her a little so I put my hand on her thigh. Her body becomes tense under my touch but she tries hard not to show it. She can't fool me though.
